Extended Stay America Suites - Orange County - Brea

I hope this property shuts down and goes out of business asap! The staff is so rude and unprofessional except for Marissa she has always been very helpful and nice. The so called manager that roost the front desk in the morning is so rude and unprofessional she has to be reported and fired!! This horrible person name is Carla she is racist and only is nice yo African American quests and has always treated me horribly I think because we are white and have always paid attention to follow the rules and have been nice to her bit she treats us like we are below her!! We pay every time we stay at this rathole while most of the other people are on sec 8 and we pay for them!! They smoke in their rooms marijuana and outside the room door and we have called the front desk and they do absolutely nothing about it, disgusting place and we will never go back!! I’m sure they will be closed soon as the owner who apparently owns Brea also owns Anaheim extended suites and they just sold and all the employees were fired!! I was told that Brea is next! Thank goodness

The bed had bed bugs and I got bit over 20 times. I woke up after a few hours and had to bag up all my belongings. The lady at the front desk didn't seem to care or offer anything to help the situation. I had to buy a new suit case, bed bug spray, new clothes. I also had to pay for early check in to another hotel and double pay for the night.

Hotel is rundown and outdated. The Linoleum floors are bubbling, the tub is peeling, the stove was rusted. The pictures make it look so much nicer than what it really is.

The Room was small, no space in kitchen. its displeasure vacation. the double beds are small.. the room price is good but still feel so small. We're might not come back to reserve the room.

The Service Customer didn't do anything to switching the rooms, which its sucks. its not satisfaction!

My stay here was disappointing. The property is noticeably outdated and showed signs of poor cleanliness. We found a cockroach in our first room, which was concerning. While the staff did change our room, the overall condition of the property was subpar. It appears to be quite rundown. I had hoped for better, even at this price point.

They say there is a to-go breakfast offered ,but there is not. Only coffee with packets of sugar and powdered creamer. Very dissapointing. Also hope you get a ground floor room if traveling with luggage cause there are only 2 carts that are always nowhere to be found and only 1 elevator located in the lobby your stuck with lugging everything upstairs otherwise...

This place is located in a nice city but I was shocked to find out how horrible this 'hotel' was. The place if dirty. The trash is overflowing on all floors outside. My 'neighbors' would put their trash outside their door, including dirty diapers. This trash was left there all day many times. There are numerous long term residents there who hang outside a lot. I saw at least one police call during my month there. The curtains were torn. The staff was ok and did their best to be helpful. The walls are very thin and noise from next door is very loud. I had to buy noise cancelling headphones just to go to sleep!

Needs a renovation, with the exception of a few people at the front desk, most are unhappy and unaccommodating. Pet areas are full of dog feces, our room leaked badly when it rained. Other better options around

Bathtub 🛁🚿 not clean enough for my standards but.. with my understanding of hard water and the leak may cause terrible stains and looks like mold..not acceptable.
Please look into it. Other than that I was happy with the room. Thank you

Bad place

1st apartment upon check in heater didn't work.
2 nd apartment shower squirted on the ceiling and wets the drywall ceiling as you shower. I pointed this out to workers.

I did love the property and did feel safe.
There are zero signs of any kind.

There is no breakfast of any kind as advertised

The front desk team was nice and the room had four walls but that was about it. The whole building was super run down and water for the shower never got hot, let alone warm. Part of why I booked this hotel was because it was advertised as having a free continental breakfast with hot tea and coffee, oatmeal, muffins, my breakfast, cereals, etc., and out of the seven mornings all I saw was lukewarm coffee, and instant oatmeal packets. For the area that it’s in I expected more.
