AVOID THIS HOTEL, IT IS NEGLEGENT AND MAKES DANGEROUS DECISIONS
I made a reservation through booking.com a week prior to arriving in Salt Lake. I then made a request to the property personally for a late check-in after 10pm. They messaged me back, letting me know the late check-in was approved. So 1. The hotel was aware of my reservation and 2. They had my contact information because they had previously contacted me. (See all of my photos I submitted). LUCKILY I got into Salt Lake early and was able to check-in (or I assumed) on time. I was dropped off at the hotel by Uber and went in to check-in only to be told that I did not have a room there. Not only were they aware of my reservation, but they neglected to contact me when they knew that they couldn't fulfill my reservation. They claimed that their hotel cleaning staff didn't come in that day and they didn't have any rooms cleaned for me to stay in. Mind you this was at 4 or 5pm. What was going to happen if I had gotten there at 10 to 11pm when I was supposed to be checking in. Hotel cleaning staff arrives early in the morning and rooms begin emptying out at 11am. 11am the hotel could have contacted me and booking.com or both, but neglected to do so. They just expected me to arrive there in the middle of the night and not have a safe place for me to stay. With no transportation either, mind you. It wasn't like I was going to be able to sleep in my car. The hotel didn't offer me ANY remedies, they didn't try to help me find new accomodations, they didn't offer me a refund right there on the spot. They just left me stranded. Like I said earlier this was at around 5pm thankfully. I had to reach out to family members to help me out. A hotel was found for me, and I wasn't able to get ahold of booking.com until after midnight. Booking.com gave me a full refund which I will get in 10-12 days (ridiculous) + $44 if I had to pay more for my new hotel I found ... BUT only $44, nothing more.
L'emplacement dans un très bon quartier de SLC
Le sol n'était pas propre du tout
It was close to where family moved in
The place wasn’t cleaned well. Had crumbs or something in my bed when turned down. Sink in bathroom didn’t drain and shower backed up fast. Was the dirtiest place I have stayed. One morning there wasn’t any coffee either. Free breakfast was advertised but after booking read further into that and it was just muffins, oatmeal, nutragrain bars and coffee. Nothing gluten free for the ones that can’t have that.
The hotel and staff were good as expected.
The parking is confusing and sometimes frustrating with the parking lot entrance weaving through the chick fil a drive thru customers.
Location was great. Walked the path to many businesses/restaurants
Originally, we had a room one the first floor that was musty but staff was very helpful and relocated us to top floor where we were very happy with our room
Location for this place is everything. The room was spacious and well equipped as is every extended stay.
Breakfast was prepackaged stuff. Staff could be more interested.
Good location
Trash overflowing in hallway
It was spacious.
Only one staff member. So busy, we couldn’t get anything for our kitchen, pots and pans needed to cook. Parking was awful with a busy restaurant nearby. Found a dirty wash cloth missed and a towel that didn’t look clean.
The room has a cooktop in addition to microwave and refrigerator. Also a small dining table with 2 chairs. Continental breakfast is minimal with muffins, cereal bar, and coffee.
There's a Chick-fil-A sharing the parking lot so it can be congested at times with cars in line at the drive through window.
The bathroom
Dirty tub, endless dripping water. Generally not very clean.
Downtown close to restaurants and shops.
We arrived around 10:30pm and it took over an hour to check in... we had a trailer on the car and the staff was zero help with ideas for parking it safely. They checked us in to a room that, after 20 minutes trying to park, we entered to find it hadn't been cleaned. We went back to the desk and it took another 10min to get a new room... only to find the key didn't work. The staff was friendly but after a long day on the road we didn't need an HOUR of check in time.
