We would upgraded to a suite very nicely equipped. The entire staff maikyla,
Sophia and Jeremiah were super nice and helpful. Enjoyed the bar and service there.
Hotel was amazing and the staff was even better. Jeremiah, Amir, and Scott couldn’t have been more friendly and accommodating. Rooms were spacious with amazing views of the Carlsbad Coastline. We will definitely be back.
Makala at the Front Desk was super awesome, helpful, kind and warm. She is the reason I would return. Every time I interacted with her, on the phone, in person, even through my husband, she was a true professional and a true Hilton Superstar.
Front desk and restaurant staff were fantastic. Very helpful and friendly. Loved the amenities and location.
The experience at the Cassara is always excellent from staff to accommodations.
Room was clean and comfortable. Food offered was versatile and tasty.
Jeremiah at the front desk was continually helpful. Chase was very good at check-in.
The location, it was clean, the grounds were well kept, and the lobby was beautiful

The pool & staff
Took our LO to Legoland and so happy about the hotel I booked. It’s walking distance to the park, while a fraction of the cost of the park’s hotel yet also still very family-friendly. Has a separate pool and entertainment for kids but also still feels luxurious with great service. Mikaela and Chase are both warm and friendly. Thank you both!
My ONLY 2 suggestions for the hotel are to remove the carpet from rooms and create a spa 🧖🏽♀️ i.e. massages, facials, etc.
We chose the Cassara Hotel primarily for its incredibly convenient location directly across the street from LEGOLAND. We had stayed at the LEGOLAND Hotel on a previous visit and weren’t particularly impressed, so this time we wanted to try something different, and we’re glad we did.
One of my first impressions of the Cassara was wow! The property is essentially part hotel and part timeshare, but when you walk through the entrance, you immediately see the beautiful pool area just beyond the lobby. It honestly gave me the feeling of walking into a resort in Cabo. It was such a great first impression and felt much more like a vacation resort than a typical hotel.
The hotel is also very kid-friendly, which was a huge plus for us. They offer activities throughout the day, so my niece and nephew had plenty to keep them entertained before heading over to LEGOLAND. They have a great splash pad, arcade areas, and a dry playground, giving kids plenty of options to burn off some energy and have fun without even leaving the property. I really appreciated that there were so many activities available, making the hotel feel like part of the vacation experience rather than simply a place to sleep.
The front-desk team was also wonderful. Andy was incredibly helpful, patient, and accommodating, especially considering how busy the property was when we arrived. Mackenzie was also very helpful and friendly, and we really appreciated the assistance we received from both of them throughout our stay.
We had asked about bell assistance for our luggage, and we were told that the property doesn’t offer bell service or valet parking. While those services would have been a nice convenience, we found that parking was actually very easy, and the elevator access to our room made getting our luggage in and out fairly convenient.
I also want to give a shout-out to Scott, the bartender, who was incredibly helpful when we arrived at last call. He made sure we were able to get our drinks and was friendly and accommodating, which was especially appreciated after a long day at LEGOLAND.
The location really can’t be beat if you’re visiting LEGOLAND. Being able to simply walk across the street was a huge plus, especially when traveling with kids. Between the beautiful resort-style atmosphere, splash pad, arcade, playground, daily activities, convenient location, and genuinely helpful staff, the Cassara was a great alternative to staying directly at LEGOLAND.
We’d definitely consider staying here again on our next LEGOLAND visit!
The location was amazing! And the sunsets were beautiful! Liked the restaurant and bar! The room had a musty smell with a wet feeling carpet. I liked that it was kid friendly. The pools were nice! But very slippery pools where I saw at least four kids slip.
Great location, amenities, food and service! Overall had no complaints and everything was great.
We chose this hotel primarily because of its convenient location near LEGOLAND, which was great for our family trip. Unfortunately, the condition of the rooms was disappointing. The rooms felt very outdated and in need of renovation, and there was a noticeable musty smell that made the stay less comfortable.
While the location was convenient, the overall room quality did not meet our expectations for the price. During future visits to the area, we will likely choose a different hotel that offers more updated accommodations and a fresher, more comfortable environment.
We did a family reunion for 3 nights. Great location! Thumbs up on Front lobby, pools & children area. Guest rooms are outdated. Carpet is old, bathroom looks like a low end hotels, there is only one hook for hang bath towel while we’re couple & no hanger for second towel. Bathroom sink overflow with black dirt. The bartender name Amir is the best, he’s serving drinks & bus boy job at the same time. Under stress out environment he’s still smiling & very nice with all the guests. Kudos to him👍🌟 Overall with the rate we paid. This hotel should do some upgrade to Guest Rooms. The most important is make sure to use $25 hotel offers each day. They meant if you don’t use it you lose it. We rated 4 Star for the location & amenities. 3 Stars based on 4 guest rooms our family stayed.
Great time nice hotel packed with amenities and fantastic location.
Scott is hands down one of the best bartenders we’ve ever had! He makes every visit an incredible experience with his genuine personality, down-to-earth attitude, and outstanding hospitality. You can tell he truly enjoys what he does, and it shows in every interaction. On top of that, he makes the perfect drinks every single time. Great service is hard to find, and Scott absolutely delivers. Give that man a raise—he’s a huge reason we’ll be coming back! 🍻👏
It was clean very friendly staff.
First and foremost I want to say that the people who we met were very friendly attentive and professional. Thank you all Michala Andy! The rooms were clean comfortable and nice. Just a few suggestions, please look into better lighting options in the bathroom it is very dark and the lighting is very dim, also in the bathroom ada please check the rust on the handrails it was very clean otherwise. As to the room we did have
2 minor glitches the tv was not functioning but the maintenance team was right on top of it and had it fixed in short order. The other glitch was that the batteries for the safe needed to be replaced and we didn’t realize it until we got back to the room later on in the evening and had to wait for the maintenance team who came right away in the morning and had it fixed immediately. The only other possible issue is the billing for the 3 rooms there is supposed to be a $15 daily food and beverage credit and it doesn’t appear to have been credited in the bills I will contact the office tomorrow. Otherwise I would highly recommend that if anyone is interested in staying there you will definitely enjoy the service
Accessible room suite notes. Sink soap and lotion bottles are mounted to wall next mirror above sink. As person in wheelchair, I could not reach either bottle. I was unable to wash my hands. Microwave is too high to be used by person in wheelchair. Roll in shower is great but not enough slope to drain as entire floor beyond shower ends up wet also despite aiming hose inward and being careful. Beyond the above issues, room accessibility was great.
