The amenities of this establishment are very nice. It is a comfortable 5 minute walk from downtown Brickell. A valet service is available for $35 a night, which I highly recommend to anyone not looking for a hassle to find parking.
Unfortunately, we had no warm water for 4 nights. Although the staff gave their best efforts - credits given where due!

La ubicación del hotel nos ha parecido excelente, junto al servicio gratuito de metro de Miami, y a la vez poder salir a pasear por la noche ( por el calor de la ciudad). El desayuno no es bufet, es con una carta, pero muy rico y abundante. Muy buena experiencia. La piscina para refrescarte después del día, perfecto.

Beautiful hotel, but a very disappointing check-in experience.
The hotel itself is very beautiful and has a lot of potential, but unfortunately, the service we received upon arrival was extremely disappointing, especially considering the price we paid.
The People arrived at around midnight after a long journey. The reservation was made one week in advance for two adults, and I had specifically requested two separate beds. Two days before our arrival, I contacted the hotel again to confirm this request. I never received a positive or negative response, so I reasonably assumed that the request had been noted or that, if it was not possible, we would at least be informed in advance.
Unfortunately, when we arrived at midnight, the receptionist simply told us that it was not possible and that there was no room with two separate beds. I called the reception and explained the situation, including that if they had told me two days earlier that my request could not be accommodated, I would have had enough time to find another hotel.
But at midnight, after a long journey, there were two elderly guests who do not speak English and needed to rest. I politely asked if there was any possible solution and explained the circumstances. The response was simply: “I don’t know, I can’t do anything.”
A few minutes later, another member of staff( a Woman), apparently with more authority, stepped in and found a solution: a room with an additional sofa. It was not what we had originally requested, but we appreciated that this person took the time to help and ultimately resolved the situation.
What was most disappointing was not that the original request could not be accommodated, but the lack of communication beforehand and, especially, the lack of willingness to help when we arrived late at night.
If the hotel had simply informed us two days earlier that separate beds were not available, we could have made another arrangement without any problem.

I feel compelled to warn other travelers before they even consider booking a stay here, because what should have been a simple luggage-hold turned into one of the most infuriating and genuinely unsafe experiences I have had at any hotel, let alone one operating under the IHG name.
While the hotel was holding my luggage in what I assumed was a secured area under their care, items were stolen directly out of my bag, and to be clear, this was not a case of something being misplaced or accidentally left behind somewhere in transit — someone went through my belongings and took what they wanted while my bag was in the hotel's custody.
What made the experience so much worse than the theft itself was the way staff and management responded, or rather, failed to respond, every single time I came to them for help. I went to the front desk repeatedly over the course of my stay, asking for an investigation, for security footage to be reviewed, for anything resembling accountability, and each time I was met with the same hollow, rehearsed sympathy that people offer when they have no intention of actually doing anything: nodding along, apologizing, promising to "look into it," and then delivering absolutely nothing in return. No updates, no follow-through, no sense of urgency, despite the fact that a guest's belongings had been gone through and taken while under their supervision.
After an entire week of being strung along with no real action taken, it finally came time for me to check out, and only then, once I was about to leave and would no longer be reachable in person, did the hotel hand me a phone number and an email address so I could "follow up" on their so-called investigation. I called. I emailed. More than once. Not a single call was returned, and not a single email received a reply. They handed me a dead end on my way out the door and treated it as an acceptable substitute for actually solving the problem while I was still there.
To make matters even more unsettling, I was not the only guest dealing with this during my stay; in conversations with other guests, I heard strikingly similar stories of missing belongings and the same wall of indifference from staff, which suggests this is not an isolated incident but rather a pattern the hotel either cannot or will not address.
This property is a disgrace to the IHG name, and if this is genuinely how a hotel operating under that brand handles guest security and basic accountability, then future guests deserve to know that before they hand over their belongings and their trust. Given other guest had similar issues, I believe this is a situation local authorities should be looking into, and I would strongly encourage anyone reading this to think twice before staying here.
Do not trust this hotel with your belongings. I certainly will not be returning.

Ideal location for Brickell
Night staff on reception acted like she's doing a favour by checking you in. Booking wasn't found on the system (told this is normal) made to wait 20 minutes at 2am in the morning when the hotel was quiet and no other guests. Flippant attitude and then placed in the worst room location (next to the pool where people can see into your room from 1 foot away) due to asking why its taking so long to check in.
Breakfast was 2 eggs and dry toast, no butter given after the second day. Staff seem like its an inconvenience to actuality serve you even Ruth the restaurant was half empty. Don't count on this as a proper breakfast.
The there mentions of thin walls/loud nosies from neighbour rooms is correct.
Crazy bad levels of service but I guess that's accepted.
