Loved the hospitality from staff and overall a clean hotel

It was my first time staying at the Courtyard Marriott in Carlsbad, but I will definitely be back. I stay in a lot of Marriott hotels for work and am a Gold elite member. I was really impressed by this hotel. When I arrived, the lobby was nice and cool, which was so nice because it was in the 90s outside. Ady checked me in, and she was very sweet and wanted to make sure my accommodations were as I like. She was very helpful, knowledgeable and had a contagious smile. Once I got to my room, I noticed the room layout was a little different to maximize space which I enjoyed. The bed is one of the most comfortable beds. I have slept on in a long time at a hotel. The room was clean, quiet, smelled fresh and had great water pressure in the shower. All the things you want a home away from home to have! I didn’t get a chance to check out the pool, but could see it was nice and clean from my room! It fit within my budget as well, so that’s always a plus! I will definitely be booking this room again when I have work in the area.

The hotel is clean, the employees are very pleasant, and Danny makes a great martini.

I stayed here recently and I was very satisfied with my stay! The customer service was excellent and the rooms were clean and modern. It was a relaxing and enjoyable experience and would absolutely stay here again!

Great staff! The bistro employees were all very nice and welcoming, I cannot say enough great things about Brennan, who help us checked us in! let the nice manager know as well while I was there and we really anjoyed our stay, and will come back on my next vacation to San Diego.

5/5 stars! My husband and I had a wonderful staycation here. The location is the best of both worlds: quiet and relaxing, but incredibly close to local restaurants and the beach. The staff really went above and beyond—everyone was super welcoming and attentive throughout our stay. We will definitely be back again!

I stayed here with family and my kids and I loved the area, it was close to Legoland. The staff was really friendly and helpful. We were greeted with a smile every time we entered the lobby or left the hotel. Will defi go back next year.

I have visited this place a few times now and I love the staff. From the manager Donna to Danny, Tomas, and the morning crew when I go to dine there, everyone is so nice and welcoming.

Appreciated the clean, tidy and spacious room with a convenient small fridge. The bathroom was spacious and housekeeping promptly provided extra clean towels when needed. Staff were super courteous and attentive. Every time we were near the lobby we were always greeted. And, the barista Allen, was super awesome and friendly. Thank you Allan for making our specialty coffees deliciously perfect! You all made our family trip to Lego land, to celebrate our 4 year old grandson's birthday, extra special. Glad we stood here!

I stayed at this hotel on a business trip and had a great experience. The hotel was clean, rooms were comfy and the staff was really helpful. I had a lot of questions since it was my first time in the area and Donna was wonderful at making me comfortable and gave me good recs for the area and was overall so great and helpful. Would stay here again!
