Garner Hotel Phoenix Northwest – Surprise by IHG

This was a nice place to stay and Rueban at the front desk was so nice. Our issue was after we got home we realized my husband had left his medical pillow there on the bed, it was white and blended in with all the bedding. We called immediately and were told it wasnt there, which we know it was, so someone obviously stole it. He called them and they didnt see it in the lost and found. I tried calling to speak to the manager and was hung up on twice. So needless to say our opinion was not a good one.

Everything was great. Would be nice if rooms had ceiling fans, not a complaint. Just a preference.

The only minor issue is in the 3 days we were there,breakfast was served later than advertised. Didn't affect us but it did others and complained ,some had somewhere to be or leaving for airport early. Maybe staffing issue at that time,hopefully temporary. Otherwise everything else was great .

Staff very pleasant and clean room

Decent hotel, would consider staying again. Clean but bed was super lumpy and sunk in spots. Breakfast was also very limited, only ended up grabbing orange juice but was appreciated. Parking felt pretty safe.

There was no breakfast and no one at the desk to explain. It was weird.

We booked a room through Expedia for three nights. Upon arrival the hotel told us that the cost would be almost 50% more than the booked price. Even when showed our reservation, they refused to honor it and they charged us the higher price. Seems like "bait and switch" to us. We won't stay at this hotel again and we won't use Expedia.

Looked at 3 rooms, all were dirty including intimate hairs in the bathroom. Hallways smelled, carpets were stained.

Great place. The service was exceptional, the room was clean and the bed was so comfortable. The staff was very friendly and attentive. I would definitely recommend this place. Great job.

Breakfast was good.Appreciated that it stayed open until 0900 when I went in. Coffeee was very good ; eggs were moist and hot.

We had an issue with the air conditioning but Ruben had someone come out immediately to take care of it and was very professional, nice and made our stay more enjoyable. I would stay there again

My short stay was very good for a last minute booking. The room was clean but some of the furnishings were a little tired. Everything DID work which indicates a solud maintenance program. Lobby and common areas were clean and straightened up. Breakfast was good with hot offerings to include scrambled eggs, sausage patties, oatmeal and waffles. Definitely good value for the money.

They gave me a dirty room that hadn't been cleaned initially. I had to go back to the front desk and get a different room.

I liked that the room had a bedroom and a living area with a sofa bed. I enjoyed having breakfast available and coffee 24/7. The staff was friendly and helpful. The price was great.

Very comfortable beds. Staff was warm and friendly. Only thing I would say to make it better is they could have run a vacuum over the main stairs. But, overall, I would stay here again.
