Pros:

Dated, but don't let that hold you back.

The staff were amazing, the rooms were clean, the bed was super comfy and the water was hot with excellent flow! Also great access downtown with the underground walkway that connects the buildings all the way to the arena.

Would definitely stay again

Over priced and run down.
Pros:

When my wife said that we were going to be at the Fairmont and that it was going to cost $500 for two nights. I was so excited thinking wow this is going to be a great day. Well, it was anything but great. The bathroom taps were loose. The fan in the bathroom wasn’t working, and when the engineer came to fix it, it still wasn’t working, the carpet in the flooring by the door was full of bumps and lumps, there is no chair to lounging in the chair that was at the desk or table was too small for the table, and then there was the parking headaches.

Pros:

The hotel was located in a central location to the family we were visiting on our trip. Our room was not as nice as the one we had stayed in on a previous visit but was adequate for our purposes

Luxury, Comfort, and Truly Attentive Service
Pros:

I recently stayed at The Fairmont Winnipeg and had a wonderful experience. The hotel felt truly luxurious—fancy, spotless, and remarkably quiet. The staff were exceptionally attentive and devoted, going above and beyond with thoughtful touches like holding doors or even pressing elevator buttons when my hands were full. Speaking of elevators, they were impressively fast—a rare and very welcome perk in a hotel.

My room was beautiful, with a wonderfully comfortable bed that made for a great night’s sleep. I also tried the in-room dining, which, while a bit pricey (as is typical for hotels), was excellent in both quality and presentation.

There were only a couple of minor drawbacks: the Wi-Fi wasn’t complimentary, which was disappointing, and while most floors had ice rooms, only two actually had machines, with small printed signs directing you elsewhere. It would have been helpful if that detail had been mentioned at check-in.

Overall, though, these were small inconveniences in an otherwise first-class stay. I’d happily return and recommend The Fairmont Winnipeg to anyone seeking a refined, comfortable, and well-serviced hotel experience.

Pros:

The rooms were old. I like contemporary design not the clumsy furniture in the rooms. The room was also too cool and no heat was available.

Pros:

Hotel is nice but dated. Had some frustrations related to construction and work in rooms close by. We were advised at check in of ongoing works and expected some noise after 8am, however works started earlier which was frustrating.

The condition of the property is not the best, it seems like they have not been doing renovations for a while. Besides that, staffs are professional, and the service is great.
