Goed hotel ideaal voor een overstap.
Pros:

Dit is een ideaal hotel als je een lange overstap op het vliegheld hebt.
Je kunt vanaf het vliegveld door de parkeergarage bijna geheel overdekt naar het vliegveld lopen. De route staat ook goed aangegeven in de parkeer garage.
Er zijn twee buslijnen (D12 en D13) die een paar keer per uur naar het centrum gaan

Cons:

ze hebben een dag later nog 30 euro extra van mijn creditcard gehaald. Dat vind ik niet erg netjes. ook geen bericht over gehad waarom.

Pros:

spent a night, very pleasing, and we then went on a small plane to northern Manitoba. Great spot within walking distance of the airport.

My recent stay at the Lakeview Signature Hotel, Winnipeg
Pros:

The hotel is conveniently located near the airport. There is a good shuttle service to and from the airport. The room is spacious and clean with good shower facility. There are two lifts in the Hotel but one of them was broken on both occasions I was at the Hotel and not fixed for over a week. Staff are friendly and courteous and always willing to assist. In fact they even arrange for a service to take me to the nearby Super store to get my toiletries for the trip. Otherwise, an average hotel close to the airport.

Pros:

Good location when you need to crash after arriving at the airport.

Cons:

The room was overdue for a refresh. Shabby, lots of things stained or slightly broken. Weirdly lumpy pillows. We stayed once before on another floor and it was better. Seems like the 2nd floor hasn't been updated since it was built.

Bored staff and Does not honor loyalty program
Pros:

Small rooms - nothing fancy, very small, you are paying for convenience next to the airport not because you want comfort.

Restaurant was so hot that I had to leave.

Front staff seemed disinterested and I felt like I was inconveniencing them by checking in.

Drove into the parking lot and buzzed the intercom to be let in. Was then told we should have checked in first and then moved the car. Why would I do that when I can pull into the parking lot and take my bags and not have to run back and forth to my car when I had a child with me.

It’s beside the airport so I assume they don’t care about service since you are paying for the convenience. Will definitely go back to The Grand next door on my next trip.

The hotel’s loyalty program was
not honored for me. I am a diamond member and did not get any benefits. The front desk lady seemed annoyed when I asked for the upgrade and without hesitating she said we are sold out. Funny because there were rooms still online!

I am officially done trying to like this brand and hoping that the next trip will be better. Loyalty card account has been closed.

Very conveniently located (right across from the airport).

Cons:

Some of the DVDs you can borrow from the front desk were scratched so they didn’t play.

Family gathering went well. Surprised at how great everything was at the hotel. Have absolutely great experience.
Pros:

Spacious lovely rooms, had a suite as well. Highly recommend. Beds super comfy. Hotel staff were great. No complaints from this family.

Lakeview DID NOT make it right!
Pros:

Unfortunate experience with Lakeview. Booked a room at the airport so that we could see our loved one before they left for Finland. Had a gift card to stay and they would not honor it. Nor would they apologize for or do anything to make my stay better.
