“The hotel I stayed at did not provide me with enough information at the reception. I had traveled from far away and had to search for the hotel building for a long time. Then I had to go back and ask them again to show me the room. This experience was unpleasant for me.”
Nothing
Heerlijke douche
Location off highway, great for stop over, dog friendly, we could take dog for breakfast , overall staff friendly and lots of parking
It’s a conference centre and complex outside of centre and - hotel is massive (huge long corridors), bit outdated and imo pricy for what it is
Comfortable room, excellent breakfast, friendly service. Bus ride from Eindhoven centre. Nice former convent, now conference hotel but I enjoyed it a lot with my daughter. Nice and not crowded swimming pool and Finnish sauna and some sports/games possibility.
Great hotel, a bit too big to get around
An excellent hotel on all counts. Impeccable service, good food, professional staff, great meeting room facilities and a well equipped sports centre with a large size indoor pool and gym.
I had an extremely frustrating experience at Hotel NH Eindhoven Conference Centre Koningshof and would not recommend staying here.
When I first arrived, my key card didn’t work. Because the hotel is so large, I had to walk about 20 minutes back to the front desk just to get a replacement. That alone was annoying after a long trip, but unfortunately it was only the beginning.
The next day, after returning from a long day out, my key card once again didn’t work. I walked all the way back to the front desk and they issued a replacement card — which also didn’t work. The staff then sent two maintenance workers to help, but instead of treating the situation seriously, they seemed to find it funny that I was locked out of my own room. They tried several methods to open the door but were unsuccessful.
After nearly **three hours** of trying to get me back into my room, they finally gave up and moved me to another room on the other side of the hotel — while **all of my clothes, toiletries, and personal belongings remained locked inside the original room**. Because of this, I was forced to wear the same clothes for two days in a row.
The only items they could provide were a toothbrush, toothpaste, and deodorant spray. When I asked for face cleanser, they actually gave me **shoe cleaner**, which honestly says a lot about the level of service here. I also couldn’t sleep until around midnight because the situation dragged on for so long.
What’s even more concerning is that the front desk employee told me that **this has happened to other guests before**, which suggests the hotel is aware of the issue but hasn’t properly fixed it.
To make matters worse, I also had a bad experience at breakfast. I asked a waiter whether a cake contained fruit because **I’m allergic to mangoes**. The waiter assured me there was no fruit in it. After taking a bite, I discovered it actually contained apricots. Luckily it wasn’t mango, but this kind of misinformation could easily cause a serious allergic reaction for someone.
What really stood out is that the hotel did **almost nothing to make the situation right**. They refunded one night, but since my company paid for the stay, that actually just created extra complications for me later when submitting my expense report. Aside from that, there was no real effort to resolve the situation or compensate for the inconvenience of being locked out of my room and separated from my belongings for hours.
Between the repeated key card failures, the inability to access my belongings, the dismissive attitude from staff, incorrect food allergy information, and the lack of meaningful effort to fix the situation, this was a very disappointing stay. I expected far better service and professionalism from a hotel of this size.
Everything
Nothing
I love this hotel. The unique atmosphere of this former convent, the beautiful forest surroundings, the cleanliness, and the typically "Brabants"-warm welcoming staff who are always taking an extra step in their hospitality to make sure guests enjoy their stay. This all has been making Koningshof my home away from home for many weekly business trips now.
Especially my favorite cook Arnold knows how to surprise and delight me every time, even though I usually order the same dinner.
Also, Indy is lovely and remembers my "special breakfast" the moment I come into the breakfast area.
Goede faciliteiten
Ongelooflijke lange inchecktijd en spoorzoeken naar je kamer (het is een erg groot complex)
I like breakfast and staff was very good. Location good. I will return to this hotel.
