Hilton Garden Inn Carlsbad Beach

The room was very comfortable, available right away despite us arriving later at night, and the staff was very respectful of us not requesting housekeeping during our stay. The front desk staff were very helpful and responsive to our needs. The view from across the street is gorgeous and the hotel is super close to Downtown Carlsbad, LegoLand, and the mall. The only bad thing was the hotel was very difficult to navigate. We struggled finding our room later at night and hotel staff did admit to issues with digital keys at this hotel.

This hotel has a great location. It's right across the street from the beach, and beautiful walking paths along the cliff. Hotel staff is very nice and the hotel rooms are spacious with very comfortable beds. You can open your window to feel the sea breeze. The only down fall is that check in was an hour after the check in time and it was disappointing that the pool and hot tub were closed for renovations when we arrived. We were really hoping to use the pool area.

The breakfast Lady & awesome night bar guy have been there for years & always recognize me and are ultra friendly !!!

I had such a great experience staying at the Hilton Garden Inn Carlsbad Beach. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and in a perfect location close to the beach. Everything from check-in to check-out was smooth and easy, and the atmosphere was relaxing and welcoming.

The best part of my stay was definitely the staff. Alison and Corey were absolutely amazing — both were so kind, professional, and genuinely helpful. They went out of their way to make sure everything was taken care of and made the whole experience feel way more personal and enjoyable. Their customer service was seriously top tier.

I had a great stay here. The highlight were the staff. Everyone from the front desk to the waiters at the restaurant to the groundskeepers were so welcoming and helpful throughout my stay. If I wasn't traveling for business, I probably would have gone into town to eat more, but for a short, work-focused stay, it was very convenient to be able to have breakfast and dinner at the restaurant onsite. The location--directly across from the street from the ocean--was also nice.

Traveled to Carlsbad to visit daughter who lives there. Rooms are nice roomy and clean. Had a semi partial ocean view out my balcony which was a nice surprise. Staff was friendly. The only downside was the pool was not open. Something about the city had to come permit it?? Either way that should have been listed when I booked the property.

The staff was excellent. I believe the gentleman that assisted me with check in was named Corey. Corey was awesome and extremely helpful. There was a delay inspecting my room before check in, the ice bucket was dirty, paint was peeling from the ceiling in the bathroom, I could hear the couple in the room next to me as if they were in the room and they weren't being loud, it just seems like the connecting room has no sound proofing between rooms, and the pool and spa was closed for my visit. Other than those things the stay was pretty great. The resteraunt did take about 40 minutes to serve our food and there was only two other guests eating there so that felt a bit long but the server was amazing. I feel like this hotel has some big facilities issues but an amazing and caring staff. Corey alone is the reason I wouldn't rate my stay lower.

Room very nice, Restaurant good, not great and the pool and hot tub were out of order the entire time, maintenance problem and it seems it has been going on for a while. were told we could go to the Hilton up the road but that is not convenient. really can't think of a good excuse for it to be out of order that long. Ping Png table was great.

My husband and I had a great time at Hilton Garden Inn Carlsbad. We had a spacious room and a beautiful view from our ocean view room. The hotel is across the street from the ocean, but access to the beach is a short walk. Pool was closed so we were allowed access to the pool at their sister property, Cape Rey. All the staff were great. But Andrew at the front desk went above and beyond. He was extremely helpful, very accommodating, and provided excellent customer service. The Breakfast Buffet at the restaurant was good and they had plenty of onsite parking at the property. The outdoor lawn games provided fun entertainment. The cold water dispenser provided in the lobby is always welcoming and refreshing. Lobby area was very nice as well. We'll definitely stay here again and recommend to our friends!

We did enjoyed our stay but we were not happy when the bathroom light would turn off when showering. We didn’t enjoy their breakfast. Bacon was not cooked enough and eggs were an odd texture. Staff was very polite and welcoming.

Location fit our plans well, we could go north or south to sites easily. Was easy to visit sites we planned out.

Great hotel, fantastic location. In the morning I would cross the street and walk by the water. What a great way to start the day.
