Amazing staff, we had half board the food was lovely. We only stayed one night but would definetly go back if we were in

Great place to stay.
Pros:

Spacious, clean rooms with very comfortable beds, great on-site parking, fantastic breakfast and dinner, and friendly, helpful staff who made the stay really enjoyable. Easy access to Liverpool via the tunnel—highly recommended for anyone looking for a convenient place to stay.

Amazing!! All the staff were so polite and friendly, spoke to the children, which mine liked. Definitely will stay again

Pros:

The car park had plenty of space.

Cons:

Our room was dirty. Cobwebs all above curtain rail whole way across. There were clumps of grey hair on the floor. Gray hair in the toilet sink. Hairs on the duvet. Very dusty!

Great staff, disappointing hotel.
Pros:

I did appreciate the availability of Dove products in the room — a nice touch. Breakfast had a decent spread, but it was very overpriced for what it was. £15 per person felt steep, especially considering the overall experience.

Cons:

We had assumed the hotel was much closer to Cheshire Oaks than it actually is. We still had to drive to the shops and back, so it’s a bit misleading to advertise it as the “Cheshire Oaks Holiday Inn”.

Our first night was terrible — the mattress was so uncomfortable that we had to complain. We were moved to a new room the next day, but the facilities still weren’t great. We didn’t leave feeling rested; we left feeling tired and miserable, which was disappointing given the journey we’d had.

We were also woken up by dock beeping from around 4:30am onwards, which wasn’t ideal.

To be fair, the staff were all very welcoming and lovely. Christine in particular went the extra mile when we raised the issues: she arranged a room move and gave us a couple of drinks vouchers. All the staff were helpful and kind — it’s just a shame about the hotel itself.

The rooms were clean and spacious but could do with new carpets as they were badly stained or with holes in them

Pros:

Easy to park, lovely staff, bedroom very comfortable with excellent tea and coffee facilities. Lovely shower, good breakfast. Plugs sockets at the side of the bed.

Would highly recommend this hotel
Pros:

Friendly staff both on arrival and during the stay. The room was spacious and clean with enough space for a couple and small child. Breakfast was fantastic with lots of choice. We had one evening meal at the hotel which was really nice. Would highly recommend.

Cons:

The carpets in the bedroom were worn and stained. As other reviews have said, they need to be changed

2nd stay in a couple of months to visit family and friends and the hotel/location ticked all boxes
