Hampton Inn & Suites Nashville-Green Hills

Great hotel, very clean and comfortable. Would recommend.

I had a very frustrating experience at Hampton Inn & Suites Nashville-Green Hills.

When I first checked in, I was given a room with a broken AC unit. The temperature stayed at 79 degrees, and I had to sit in that uncomfortable room for over an hour before anything was done. That alone made for a rough start to my stay.

When I called the front desk, the staff member I spoke with (Jenna) came across as rude and dismissive. Although I was eventually moved to a different room, the situation got worse afterward.

Later, when I returned to the hotel while walking my dog, Jenna stopped me in the lobby and spoke to me in a confrontational and unprofessional way. She implied that I was lying about the AC issue just to get a new room, which was honestly shocking and very uncomfortable.

Between the unacceptable room conditions and the way I was treated by the front desk, this was a really disappointing experience. I expect much better customer service and professionalism, especially from a Hilton property.

I hope management addresses this so future guests are treated with more respect.

This is a great smaller hotel near a popular mall so there are tons of places to get to easily. The traffic is an issue, but that is Nashville. This hotel is tucked away just away from that. Great dog friendly as well.

The staff were so helpful and friendly.

My husband and I spent a great long weekend in Nashville and used this as our home base. It is about 15-20 min to town and thankfully we were able to park where our family was staying and shuttle to town and not worry about parking in downtown. That would have been a pitb.

We had a mostly great experience. The front desk staff is very friendly and helpful. The bed was super uncomfortable and they offered to switch our room, but I checked it out and the mattress was essentially the same so we stayed put. They also offered to put a foam topper on if we wanted to which I thought was quite over and above.

The older southern lady running the breakfast area on Sat AM is the star of the place. She is absolutely amazing with everyone and just a gem. Food offerings are standard for Hampton and there is definitely plenty for everyone. Free parking and walking distance to the mall are also plusses. Hotel was also nice and quiet with good HVAC.

Hotel is older and a little worn, but clean. You can see the wear in the carpets and caulking and shower seals and this place had the most uncomfortable beds of any Hampton Inn we have ever stayed at: Need to be switched out. It also took almost 5 minutes of water running in the shower before it turned hot.

We would definitely return if in the area.

Breakfast was fine. Bed was very comfortable and thr bathroom was super clean.

The staff was very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was excellent and different each of the mornings from the 2 nights we stayed. Hot coffee, tea and hot chocolate available at all times. Felt very safe parked here as staff was very aware of their property and its surroundings. You can walk to the mall, movies and many restaurants, as well as close to Downtown Nashville!

Helpful friendly staff

My wife and I stayed here Saturday-Monday morning. The hotel itself is a little old, but it has a nice simple charm to it.

It “looks” older with the brick on the outside, but the inside lobby is really pretty with older dark looking wood dressing the walls.

The rooms are very clean and quiet, however, it could use a slight update.

We always return to hotels that were clean and quiet and we will definitely return here. The staff was VERY friendly! Over the top friendly.

This place is also a good location to get around Nashville from. It is a straight shot to Interstate 440 (maybe 1 mile—straight down road from hotel) and this gives you access to I40-I65 and downtown Nashville easy access.

If you want a quiet place, good base camp, so to speak in Nashville) this is your place! It is also about a 100 yard walk to the Green Hills mall as well,
