Hampton Inn & Suites Miami Airport South/Blue Lagoon

Nice place with a friendly staff. The location is perfect for a pre-cruise stay. There are several restaurants nearby. There is also a supermarket, a drug store and a liquor store across athe street.

The beds are are comfy and rhe breakfast is nice. You can book a shuttle to the ship for a reasonable price.

Excellent property. Convenient to airport, free shuttle, and cruise ship terminal, shuttle for a small charge. Two pharmacies, restaurants, supermarket walking distance. Front desk staff, especially Gio welcoming and helpful. Juan the shuttle driver was very informative and welcoming. Great place to stay. Highly recommend.

Room was lovely. Small attractive rooftop pool and hot tub. Across the (busy) street from Publix, Burlington store, and a couple of restaurants. Casa Juan was nice! Driver (also named Juan!) was delightful and informative.

During our stay, we received truly outstanding service from the hotel team. Edis and Jose (Front Desk Supervisor) made a wonderful first impression from the moment we checked in. They welcomed us with warm smiles and genuine kindness, immediately making us feel valued and at home. They thoughtfully asked if we would be taking a cruise from the port and kindly assisted us with completing the registration in advance, which made our plans so much easier and stress-free. Their proactive and caring approach really stood out.

We were also very impressed by the exceptional service from the breakfast team — Nora, Karelia, Berclia, and Yaima. In the check out morning, they worked tirelessly to keep the area spotless, consistently cleaning the counters and ensuring everything was organized and inviting. Their attentiveness and dedication created a comfortable and pleasant dining experience for all guests.

Overall, this may be a 3-star hotel, but the service we received was truly 6-star. We sincerely appreciate the entire team for making our stay so enjoyable and memorable.

Giovanni and Juan were not absolutely amazing and made the experience so much better

We flew into Miami on our way to the keys for Vacation. Since our flight arrived later at night we wanted to stay at a hotel and this one had good reviews and was 10 min drive from the airport. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. We had a standard king size room. There was free breakfast with lots of hot and cold choices. Coffee available in the lobby all hours. Staff were very friendly. Hotel was close to many stores.

Juan was a very friendly shuttle driver, explaining how to get to all the restaurants and stores we may need within walking distance.

We stayed at the Hampton Inn and it was very disappointing. The only thing positive is that the service was good. The rooms are old and dilapidated. We stayed in room 303, the air conditioning was broken. The room was 78 degrees at night. The bed was old and broken and make a lot of noise when you moved. Hampton Inn should be ashamed. The breakfast was also lousy.

Juan was exceptional while driving us from the airport to the hotel. He gave valuable advice for our trip to Cuba and good restaurant recommendations. We enjoyed talking with him.

Excellent stay at the Hampton Inn Miami Airport by Blue Lagoon. The staff was welcoming and efficient. The rooms were very comfortable and nice. The shuttle service was excellent and our driver, Fernando, was professional, courteous and informative.
