Cons:

Unfriendly staff. Girl up front was very Unfriendly and didn't smile or seem like she didn't like her job.
Breakfast dining the lady was fussing about the hours she was having to work and she wasn't helpful or friendly.

Expected more from such a great hotel name

Pool floor terribly dirty, limited beach chairs in POOR CONDITION, NO BEACH ACCESS on property as advertised, (had to walk 2 inconvenient blocks) unlit unsafe no cameras plywood entrance (not safe)

I liked the location of the property.

Cons:

The property is under construction ( no one told us this during booking) this should have decreased the price. There was little to no parking, my room was outside, there was a big flying roach in my room, because there was a crack under the entrance door, the parking in the back of the building was literally falling in, that knocked out about 8 parking spots.

Not a good place to stay
Pros:

My wife and I stay at Hampton Inn and Suites whenever we travel and are usually very satisfied. Unfortunately, this is not one of those times. This place is dirty and run down. It’s hard to believe this is a Hampton Inn. The front is under construction and the rear parking lot is partially caved in. The beach access is blocked off. The room just felt unclean and the bathtub had a ring around it. The floor is carpet squares with no padding. The weather stripping was coming off the door and the door strike plate was coming off. I couldn’t even throw the dead bolt. The only redeeming thing about this hotel was the oceanfront balcony.
We were very disappointed.

Pros:

This Hampton Inn is a train wreck. HI is.my go to hotel choice. How this HI holds an occupancy license is beyond me. From a collapsed parking deck to construction equipment stored in the halls, an accident waiting to happen. Go elsewhere!!!

Pros:

Stayed here for a local timeshare presentation situation. I thought we were going to be at the other Hampton inn at Daytona beach that seems awesome. You know the one with a bar and splash pad? This one was for sure a disappointment. No beach access currently, pool is basic, everything seems run down. Jacuzzi not working. Lots of little things in our room are semi broken (sliding door, hooks for towels, sink drain etc) The entrance is a literal plywood tunnel. Would zero percent recommend.

Pros:

In the past, we automatically booked here. They are remodeling and have not completely repaired the last hurricane damage. One would think that the things under their control would be A+. The safe did not work, a light was out, and the air was not on in our room upon our arrival. Bath towels are swapped every other day. Trash is not gathered daily. Park of the parking area and beach access have not been repaired. Over half of the lounge chairs at the pool were ripped. There are no umbrellas at the pool. It is not the same as in the past. Will probably shop around on our next trip.

A drop off from the past.
Pros:

It has been a great place in the past. However, they are remodeling which is fine but it is not the same. Staff is friendly. The safe didn’t work and one of the room lamps was burned out upon arrival. Over half of the lounge chairs by the pool were ripped. One set of towels, etc.., every two days. No trash removal from room. With the inconvenience of remodeling , one would think that things in their control would be A+.

Overall decent bang for your buck, Very limited parking though.
Pros:

Close to the beach.

Cons:

Very little parking we barely got a spot and we had to pay nightly for it. The hotel was under construction which we had no warning about. No access to the beach had to walk down the street and use public access. Hot tub had construction tools in it. Room smelled like marijuana.

Cons:

This was a ridiculous price for the horrible state of the hotel. It was really appalling and we will never stay there. It was dirty. Water was yellow. It was in disrepair. Parking was almost non existent yet we had to pay for it! We couldn't even access the beach from it. It was NOT worth the money paid to stay there.
