Not much
This was a ridiculous price for the horrible state of the hotel. It was really appalling and we will never stay there. It was dirty. Water was yellow. It was in disrepair. Parking was almost non existent yet we had to pay for it! We couldn't even access the beach from it. It was NOT worth the money paid to stay there.
Location to event
Housekeepers were pleasant
Dirty
Not kept up
No parking
Rude staff
Mold on shower curtain
Location
Needs some renovation
Included breakfast
The hot tub was broken and well as the stairs down to the beach. The main reason I reserved this hotel was for those two amenities
That it was on the beach. Kinda and people friendly!
There was nothing wrong with the property!
Was a beautiful location with lots in walking distance
Was not informed at booking that they had hurricane damage. No beach access and hot tub was not working. minimal seating for pool deck and minimal towels for pool. also parking was not ideal again due to hurricane damage not made aware of at booking.
This Hampton use to be a nice property but is heading down hill. The old owners use to keep it nice, the new owner not so much. My room lacked a chair at the desk and that wouldn't work since I was on a business trip. Needs some sprucing up. They also didn't acknowledge my Diamond status with a bottle of water or a snack. They can do better.
Parking extra 15 plus tax parking per day Hot tub long term out of service and no beach entry from property
Value, beachside, on brand
Beachside
Everything was fantastic there was construction I knew this going into it but other than that I couldn’t have asked for for a better experience.
Check- in I think her name was Katheryn and she was one of the managers but I don’t believe she remembers her customer service experiences she was flat out rude! I don’t generally call people out but man she was just rude to us. Other than the staff was most wonderful people and I think that didn’t force their customer service I genuinely think they were happy people.
Room, breakfast, pool, check out time
They were working on the beach access which was locked up. Parking was tricky... Not much room to maneuver

Our 1 st stay at 3135 S. Atlantic Ave, Daytona Beach Shores was in Sept. through second week of October in 1975 (for our honeymoon ) a year after we were married on May 11, 1974. It was then called the Travel Lodge, ( 1 st picture ) later it changed names a few times and for the last couple of decades it has been Hampton Inn. We took our children there many times as well as our grandchildren , and made so many great memories ! Since 2022 , when hurricanes IAN and Nicole did so much damage to the beach and the hotels in Daytona Beach Shores , nothing has been the same since ! Miss going there but it is not the same anymore !
Breakfast was fine.
Damaged pool area, no pool.
Repair requirements were not noted upon booking.
Difficult to open access door and balcony slider.
Outrageous cost for no pool, no access to ocean, no hot tub. Dirty floors clean bed. Did not say anything about no use of things prior to renting.
