Affordable Accommodation and good location and convenient transport
There is no phone in the room, sometimes needed to ask for items that should be stocked in the kitchenette
It was convenient and close to the main strip mall
Parking location, would like a sign to show where parking is and that it’s valet only
The Hotel La Croix was an awesome experience and the staff really took care of us. Want to give a huge shoutout to Ben and Joshua!
Staff service was excellent.
Pool and Sauna closing hours were at 8:30 pm. Pool and Sauna hours should be at least until 9 pm.
Location is excellent
Room had to be changed but staff were very accommodating and changed with no issues
My stay at Hotel La Croix in Waikiki was overall a comfortable and enjoyable experience. The location is definitely one of its biggest strengths—just a short walk to Waikiki Beach, as well as plenty of shops and dining options nearby, which made everything very convenient.
The room itself felt a bit outdated in terms of decor and furnishings, but it was still clean, well-maintained, and comfortable enough for relaxing after a long day out. The bed was cozy, and I appreciated having a balcony to enjoy some fresh air and partial views of the area.
The staff stood out as friendly and accommodating, always willing to assist and offer helpful suggestions. The hotel also had a quieter, more laid-back vibe compared to some of the larger resorts, which I personally liked.
All in all, while the rooms could use some updating, Hotel La Croix offers a comfortable stay in a great location, making it a good option for travelers who value convenience and a more relaxed atmosphere.
I had a great experience here! The location was great, able to walk to everything close by. I also loved the staff here, they made my trip super easy and accommodating with delayed flights and messed up travel plans. Vince was such a joy, he was super friendly and definitely brightened my day whenever I saw him! Definitly recommend!
Quintin was great !!! He was very polite and respectful showed me everything very efficiently and we had a great conversation as well. Amazing employee
Mahalo to Ben, Vince, Bruce, DeAndrew, Quentin & Miles!

From start to finish, the courtesy, attentiveness and kindness we received was top tier. The room and common areas were all very clean and welcoming. The front desk staff were eager to assist and relieve us of any concerns or question, day or night (and even help out with a crazy idea or two!) Miles at the Valet is the most genuine and patient of a human and if nothing else, you'll leave smiling because of him. We will definitely stay with La Croix on our next trip and cant wait until we can see the team again!
The bartender at the pool was wonderful. The location was very convenient – although I'm pretty sure that could be said for almost anywhere in downtown Honolulu. That's literally the only likable thing about this place...
We booked a Silver King at Hotel La Croix for our honeymoon, and when we arrived, we genuinely thought there had been some kind of mistake.
Everything shown on their website and on Booking.com looks like a beautiful, spacious room with a private balcony, seating, and modern finishes. What we walked into was the complete opposite.
The room was small, dark, dingy, and outdated. No private balcony, no seating (just a bed), and you literally had to climb over the bed to get into the bathroom. On top of that, the check-in staff were not warm or welcoming at all.
We left for dinner to figure out what to do, then came back to the front desk since this was our honeymoon and something clearly wasn’t right. The second staff member we spoke to was very kind and showed us three different rooms. Two of them were just as bad, if not worse. This hotel is mind-boggling—every floor and every room is different, and it feels like only a select few have actually been updated.
We settled on a slightly better room (it had a chair… the bar was that low), but once we unpacked, we realized how dirty it was. The flooring was damaged and worn, the “Italian Carrara marble” was glued onto Amazon quality furniture, and the bathroom was disgusting—hair in the sink and shower, residue/mold in the soap dish, and peeling paint on the walls and in the tub that had clearly been painted over.
Just when we thought it couldn’t get any worse, they shut the water off for the entire hotel with NO warning—while I was in the shower!! Sitting and waiting for 30+ minutes for them to turn the water back on while I was covered with soap and dripping wet was truly the cherry on top.
We made the best of our stay by leaving the hotel as much as possible, but looking back, we absolutely should have chosen somewhere more reputable and moved hotels immediately. If you’re considering staying here, don’t. This place is nothing like what they advertise, and it’s not worth the risk of ruining your trip.
I had a great stay here. The staff were all very helpful and accommodating, especially Janice at the front desk, who made the experience even better. The rooms are amazing, and I truly enjoyed my stay.
The location is great, super easy to explore! Room was nice and big and pool was refreshing ( salt water too)! Staff was very friendly and hospitable, would come again!
Had an amazing time at Hotel La Croix! Joshua made our time memorable, he was very attentive and brought great vibes all around!
Joshua was very energetic he made my drink exactly how I wanted it and explained what I wanted to know. Super helpful and fun!!
Traveled with a friend and we all stayed at different hotels, some of them well-known big chain brands, but we chose La Croix, and we’re so glad we did. After comparing experiences, we all agreed that La Croix had the best rooms and by far the friendliest atmosphere.
We had the pleasure of working with Vince, who was incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to make our stay great. It really made a difference.
If you’re looking for a beautiful hotel with genuinely kind staff and a warm, welcoming vibe, this is definitely the place to book.
location
Lots of upsell.
Beautiful hotel and great experience! JOHN the bartender was the highlight of the trip!! Great vibes and a great experience! Last minute reservation for the night but decided to stay another night because the atmosphere and Josh was just amazing!!! 10/10!
We had to leave a review because the bartender John absolutely made our night. The weather took a turn with the rainy season but he brought the energy we needed and completely lifted our mood. Our drinks were made perfectly every single time and he kept us entertained the whole night.
We were a party of three birthday girls traveling with a family of eight and somehow John kept the whole bar laughing and the good vibes flowing. The personality, the sass, the humor had us cracking up the entire time. Honestly people from the mainland need a little more of that kind of energy.
If the drinks hadn’t been so good we might have stayed just for the show alone. Way to go John. You turned a rainy night into one of the most fun memories of our trip. The drinks were strong, the jokes were stronger, and the vibes were immaculate.
