Maui Seaside Hotel

El personal es muy amable, mi vuelo salia bastante tarde y me dejaron realizar el check out y estar por las instalaciones exteriores hasta el momento en que debia acudir al aeropuerto

excelente la habitacion, nueva, recien remodelada muy bonita buunas camas, el servicio y el personal, fueron muy amables, inlcuso luego de haber hecho el check out al medio dia, en la noche nos facilitaron una habitacion de cortesia para bañarnos y cambiarnos antes de nuetsro vuelo nocturno

Me gustó el jardin y piscina mucho. Y le personal que fue muy amable.

If I ever have a layover in Maui again, I’ll definitely consider staying here but this layover was a scheduling accident on my part so I’m hoping that isn’t necessary in the future. For those not aware, the airport on Maui closes from 11 PM to 5 AM and Alaska Airlines will schedule your connecting flight the next morning despite this fact. They’ll also automatically transfer your bags which won’t come out on the baggage claim even after you stand there waiting for an hour. Luckily, I didn’t need anything in my bags. You’ll need a place to spend those six hours while the airport is closed and this hotel is both cheap and has an airport shuttle that runs from 6 AM to 10 PM. Of course, I missed both shuttles and had to get an Uber from the other side of the island which took about 25 minutes to arrive at the airport. The morning flight was so early, I missed that hotel shuttle, too. The only good part about this absurd layover was the ease of checking in and out of this hotel. It has all of the basic amenities like a bed, a toilet, and internet. Compared to the Courtyard Marriott, Maui Seaside Hotel was about $200 cheaper. I’d sleep on a park bench before I’d pay $400 for less than six hours of sleep. Long story short, the cheapest flight isn’t always the cheapest option.

Staff and service were great. Our room was available early and met our family needs.

This was my first time booking at this hotel and what a great surprise I had! My flight arrived early in the morning and I figured I wouldn’t be able to check in. But thought I’d ask and at a minimum just leave my bags while I drive around the island. Fe at the front desk was helping me. First off she was so sweet, kind and personable. She looked up my reservations, shared that the room wasn’t available yet but she’d see what she could do to expedite it. She told me that it could be available within the hour. That was about a 30 min wait from that point. I know these estimates are just that and a million things could go wrong but she was totally right on the money.
Our room was ready! She brought me to the desk shared that we were selected as the “guest of the day” and that our room had been upgraded. What?!! Mind you, I don’t have status at this hotel so this was a complete surprise and delight.
Got into this beautiful room that was ocean facing, had a welcome letter sharing that we were the guest of the day and just had a wonderful time on the property. Thank you to Fe, the manager at the front and the entire staff. They were all so hospitable.

I stay here for business trips and it is perfect. No frills, it’s showing its age but for the price you are getting a solid deal. Hotel is great for short stint stays.
