This hotel is fabulous

The Killarney Park Hotel is one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in. The staff is incredibly friendly and they make you feel like family.
Declan, Tim and CP the door provided amazing recommendations which did not disappoint. Each day they asked what we were planning to do and made great recommendations for our itinerary. They changed our mind from Ring of Kerry to Dingle Peninsula because it was a bit shorter and just as nice. That day was amazing! What a great recommendation. Heading out to Galway after checkout, they gave us all the great spots to hit. Cliffs of Killkee are better than Cliffs of Moher. We would have missed them if it weren’t for the staff. As for the rooms, service and general attitude, they pampered us in style.

There is a rare level of consistency at The Killarney Park Hotel that is hard to find elsewhere. Having just completed our fifth stay, my wife and I were once again reminded why this remains our first choice in Killarney. From the effortless check-in to the moment we departed, the experience was characterized by a genuine sense of care and professional warmth from every member of the staff.
​The hotel itself is beautifully decorated, striking that fine balance between high-end elegance and a truly welcoming atmosphere. Our room was spotless and impressively quiet, featuring a stunning bathroom with an excellent shower, details that make all the difference. Even the leisure club stands out for its comfort; it is a well maintained space and, crucially, nicely heated.
​Whether it was the exceptional quality of the room service or the relaxed, vibrant atmosphere of the bar, every element of the stay felt polished. Its central location is the final piece of the puzzle, putting everything Killarney has to offer right at your doorstep while maintaining a sense of sanctuary inside. It was an amazing stay from start to finish.

We did a 2 hour horseback riding tour through the park that was absolutely beautiful and amazing. The deer were in full rut so we were able to see hundreds of Red Der and Sika Deer. We also did a walk through the park to Ross Castle from the city center and back which was relaxing and peaceful. Would 100% recommend and we already are booked to go back and revisit May of 2026!

The hotel is remarkable in every aspect. Wonderful architecture, elegant, comfortable and amazing staff.

Myself and my wife had a wonderful stay in the hotel. From start to finish this was a superb experience. Hotel was beautifully decorated and the room was amazing. Special thanks to PC who made the stay that extra special. Staff were friendly and courteous and made us feel at home from the moment we arrived and met Declan and checked in. The location is perfect with only a short walk to the center of Killarney. The food in the bar was amazing with the piano playing giving it a great atmosphere. The breakfast in the morning was top class also. The newly decorated rooms and Bar were fantastic. Overall i would have to say this was the nicest hotel we have stayed in with the service and quality being 10 out of 10. We will definitely be back. Derrick

My husband and I spent three fantastic nights staying at The Killarney Park while exploring Ireland for the month of September. We stayed in room 270 which is a garden suite. The room was spacious. Everything in the room was perfection. There was artwork everywhere in our room. All of the furniture was very clean and very comfortable.
This room has two balconies. The first balcony has a table and two chairs and overlooks the gardens. The second balcony is on a rooftop, but the views are still spectacular especially at night watching the stars. When we arrived in our room, we were given a delicious dessert and a bowl full of fruit. The refrigerator had several drinks and snacks all of which were included.
Our bedroom since it was a suite was in a separate room. The bed was very comfortable. The design of the bedroom was stunning. Make sure you check out my pictures for more details. The bathroom was quite large with a separate tub and shower. There was also a heated towel rack. Everything was in pristine working order. There is plenty of space for storage and plenty of drawers to place your clothes.
We thoroughly enjoyed sitting outside on the small balcony. You overlook the gardens. One the roof tops is completely covered in heather. The color of the heather would change throughout the day so I enjoyed taking numerous pictures.
The room is very quiet. Every employee that we encountered was extremely helpful. We did dine at several of the restaurants and breakfast was included every morning. I will be doing separate reviews of all of our food and dining experiences. Breakfast here is truly an experience.
We would especially like to thank Norma & Cody at the front desk for assisting us in all of our needs. We thoroughly enjoyed talking with Dora at breakfast every morning. Brian and Adrian at the bar were also very friendly and welcoming. The guys out front were always ready to assist with directions or questions.
The hotel is stunning. There is so much to see & do. The hotels grounds are gorgeous .
I realize that this hotel is slightly more expensive than other ones in Killarney but with the perfection, it is definitely worth the expense. Some people say it’s just a place to sleep, but for my husband & I it is the experience. We were definitely made to feel like family & we can’t wait to stay here again.
We are extremely grateful to have stayed at the Killarney Park and I absolutely 100% would recommend staying at this fine establishment. You are within walking distance to many sites, shops & restaurants.

great location easily walkable to town center. beautiful hotel with its library and billiard room and excellent service. plenty of room for 3 people and really appreciated the small thoughtful details. wonderful breakfast and dinner. Highly recommend and will be back.

The newly refurbished hotel has to be seen to be believed. Luxury personified. This applies not only to the decor but to the menus, the food served, the variety.
But the most impressive of all are the staff. From the friendly, helpful,knowledgeable doormen right through reception, bars, restaurants, housekeeping staff....lots of them young but so well trained, personable, pleasant. What an experience.

Another fantastic stay at The Killarney Park. The room upgrades are excellent. A massive well done to all involved. As usual everyone was so lovely during my stay, it really is a home away from home.
Special mention to Norma who checked me in and could not possibly have been more welcoming and friendly. Also thank you to Macieka in the bar who always has a nice welcome and chat.

An absolutely amazing breakfast experience! Ideally located in the heart of Killarney. The variety and quality of the food was outstanding, with fresh ingredients and beautifully prepared dishes to suit every taste. What truly made the morning special was the staff—warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Their professionalism and friendly attitude reflected the high standards you expect from a five-star hotel. A perfect start to the day and a truly memorable experience.
