Coming from another smart-looking hotel in another city, I worried that this—our third stay at the Kerry Hotel—wouldn’t impress us so much this time. I was wrong, because it’s still a step up. Clean, smart, with every convenience and attentive service.
Good afternoon. We stayed at the hotel from August 17 to August 21, 2026. We really liked the rooms provided for our family stay; we had adjoining rooms with a connecting door, which was very convenient. We also really appreciated the hotel's location, with many cafes, restaurants, and shops within walking distance. I would like to highlight the staff: my son lost his headphones in a taxi, but the staff contacted the driver and resolved the issue, ensuring the headphones were returned to us that same evening. The staff were very attentive and responded quickly to our requests. The hotel is beautiful and luxurious. We recommend staying here.
When we checked in at night, we discovered we had to pay a 4,000-yuan deposit. We hadn't been warned about this, and the information wasn't on Booking.com either. My husband happened to notice that the amount shown on the payment terminal was different: it displayed 15,000 yuan instead of 11,000. When we asked about it, the staff explained that the difference was the deposit, though they couldn't explain why it was 4,000 yuan. Eventually, the male staff member left, and a female staff member told us that if we didn't want to, we didn't have to leave a deposit; instead, we could simply pay for hotel services as we used them—an arrangement that suited us fine. However, the requirement to pay a deposit should be stated on the website, as 4,000 yuan is a significant amount for foreign nationals. Even though the money is refundable, what is a guest supposed to do with it after checking out if they are flying home? We had planned to spend that money during our stay in Beijing. That was a downside.

Hotel’s location is convenient, everywhere is reachable with maximum 20 mins of Didi. The hotel is new, clean and welcoming. The room is spacious and very clean. There is a proper Japanese style Toto toilet which is a big plus in the room.
The spa and swimming pool is so clean and well maintained. You need to bring swimming cap for both facilities.

Breakfast was superb - unbelievable amount of choice and it set us up for the day until dinner.
Room was excellent, as were the staff who did a brilliant job looking after it each day.
Mini-bar was restocked everyday on the deal we had and plenty of water was always provided.
Good range of additional places to eat in the Kerry Mall - this is attached to the hotel so makes things really easy if wanting to stay ‘closer to home’, as well as a small supermarket at the end which had a feel of M&S /Waitrose, so good for a few extra supplies for day trips.
Female changing rooms had far smaller sauna, steam room and jacuzzi than the male changing rooms, and no plunge pool.

It’s part of a shopping mall. Not what you expect from a 5 stars hotel.
We choose this hotel as it sells itself as kids friendly. We tried the swimming pool but it’s not inside the hotel and everyone was training like if there is no tomorrow . It was impossible to chill and our 5 years old was bullied away. Then the other announced amenities are also part of the shopping mall besides the hotel. The room is small and in gral aged.
The sofa was useful for me to entertain my beijing guests who visited me.
The hotel foyer was big n classy which impressed my beijing friends.
The e bidet is upmarket stuff n working well
1 The swimming pool wasnt inside hotel itself. I visied it to take a look n met with a very rude gymn staff who treated me as if i was passerby or gatecrashing. BAD name for Kerry! If i post my experiences in IG 小红书 tiktok facebook. I ended up not having a swim like i had enjoyed in Yunding hotel at Chongli 2 days earlier
2 The swivel doors at lobby are heavy n outdated for use.
3. The staff who administered my checking in could not speak proper English. I couldnt understand what she said about mini bar in the room
Club access enhanced our 5 night stay as the range of food/drink and service in the lounge was exceptional. The staff throughout the hotel were so helpful especially the concierge desk. The hotel is in a great location in the financial district with lots of restaurants/shops close by. The restaurant and wine bars in the hotel are also very good. The peking duck in the restaurant was amazing. This was our last hotel stop in our 3 week tour of Asia and we definitely saved the best to last.
