Los.servicios de limpieza son extremadamente pésimos, en cinco dias limpiaron una.sola vez, perdón... cambiaron toallas pq limpiar, eso no se hizo nunca, un hotel caro y la limpieza pesa y de la comida ni hablar, mas mala en todo sentido, sin embargo el personal es amable y agradable, excepto la señora de las bebidas de la playa, siempre.con mal caracter y mala gana.

Food isn’t great,do yourself a favor and do the reservations for the Italian restaurant it’s better.

I like the hotel very much the only thing is they need Wi-Fi in the rooms. They only have Wi-Fi in the reception this is a problem. But I like the grounds and the staff was amazing !!! The food was excellent!!! Get Wi-Fi in rooms it would be perfect

No complaints about property. It is an older resort but nothing wrong with it. The staff are what made our trip so memorable. Dining room staff, lobby staff, beach staff, bartenders, housekeeping, were all so friendly and helpful. We don't speak Spanish but staff did their best to speak with us and all our needs were met.

I had a great stay at Sol Caribe Campo! The main pool and the beach were both great with plenty of chairs and some shaded space. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the food was good and had plenty of variety. No stinginess with the alcohol either. And my room was well air-conditioned and clean, and the bed was comfy. However, there are a few things that I can see being dealbreakers for some people. WiFi is only available in the lobby. The resort is on a hill, which makes for great views, but also loooots of stairs. And the hotel plays fairly loud party music at the pool, the beach, during the nightly show--pretty much all day, everywhere until 11pm at night.

Realize you are on an island lost in time. American standard quality simply is not there. I wanted to give this place a 1 star at first. but in the end I nearly opted 5. In the end the food drove it down. The island is full of run down hotels and houses and places long past their prime. The famous strip of beach in the center is over crowded and only one decent place to eat and sleep. The Sol Carib Campo is an easy 15 minute drive from that craziness. The hotel is like a park carved out of a side of a hill in the jungle. It is slightly dated but you have to appreciate how hard they are trying. The staff is clearly well trained (try to get in or get served without a mask - a friendly but stern reminder will be given). There is no trash anywhere ans people seem to be constantly cleaning and making improvements (can not say that for most of the island). The rooms are older but extremely comfortable bed. Water is warm. It is true there is an odd smell to the water. It's the high surpher content in the local drinking water bot sewage. The front staff is friendly but a little slow to check in - no real issue. The beach is on but honestly a lot cleaner than any other beach around. The pools are all nice especially the main pool.
Note bring hood shoes you will be hiking up ans down the hills and stairs a lot. I mean a lot! The main draw back is the food - it's about the same quality as my kids get when they go to summer camp. Nothing bad or harmful but meh.
