THE LOCATION IS SUITABLE

Would stay here again. Great value for the money. Half the cost of other hotels. Very clean and friendly staff. No restaurant inside but does have reading area with fireplace and game room and breakfast area. 24/7 coffee and tea bar. And an outdoor pool. 5 Star to me

First time staying at a Spark, I was welcomed by a warm smile from Miya. She made check in easy and fast. Recieved a follow up text from Raul to see how accommodations were working for me. The best customer service 👌 cause today that's not common. Will stay at this Spark again when I'm in the area. Thank you.

La colazione non era molto variegata, faceva giusto il suo dovere al mattino. Posizione buona per noi, abbiamo camminato un po’ ma è stato piacevole.

So, I rated this hotel at a 5 star because my experience was really effortless. I am not saying this was a five star hotel, however! This was an adequate place to stay at a great deal for $75 a night. We stayed three nights. It was clean, maintained and well stocked. There were plenty of towels provided. Water smelled of sulphur, as other reviewers have mentioned. The fridge worked well to keep things cold. The beds were of decent quality comfort although they were full size, not Queen. Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful, especially with food delivery. Television provided live tv offerings with a variety of channels. We were “stuck” in Orlando with limited funds, so we didn’t leave the room and thus didn’t use maid service to know how/when they cleaned. I will say that I’ve paid a lot more to stay in far worse hotels!

Breakfast was continental and provided many options from hard boiled eggs, a bagel “bar”, muffins, cereal, oatmeal packets, apples, bananas, and a yogurt dispenser; as well as juice, tea and coffee. There was always hot and cold water available after breakfast hours as well as a tea and coffee station. It was well stocked. But, if you’re looking for food after breakfast you’ll need to leave the property, grubhub it, or buy some very marked up microwaveable items like Mac and cheese cups, breakfast sandwiches or little pizzas. There was a microwave in the lounge, but it seemed to always be “on”, even after it dinged. They did have chips, candy and beverages for purchase.

Everyone we came into contact with, including the breakfast maintenance folk seemed very concerned that we were enjoying our stay. This is really unheard of these days.

Nitpicking:
-this was obviously a rehabbed Best Western. There were some unsightly exposed pipes next to the sink. There was a smell in the hallway that couldn’t be identified. Not a “clean” smell, but an old smell. Thankfully we weren’t I. The hallway much!
-the over comforter was scratchy (who needs this anyway??)
Our room in particular:
-the design of the shower basin seemed to be off in that the water needed encouragement to go down the drain efficiently
-our room seemed to be directly above the laundry level, so at various points of the day washers adding water could be heard
-keeping the a/c at a reasonable level was difficult (to be fair the weather ranged from 85 degrees to 32 in a
matter of 48 hours)

For $75 a night, I was very pleasantly surprised!
