Ontgoocheld omdat we een meerprijs betaalden om minder te krijgen.
Pros:

The Tony hotel is een mooi art deco hotel, met mooie lobby, mooi zwembad en ligzetels op het dak. Mooie bar en terras waar je iets kan eten.

Cons:

Wat tegen viel is dat we een meerprijs betaald hebben voor een ocean drive kamer, die groter en luxueuzer zou moeten zijn met zicht op Ocean drive.
Echter bij aankomst bleek dat we hierdoor in een ander gebouw werden gehuisvest, enkel te bereiken via de straat en gelegen op 150 m van het Tony hotel. Het is een ouder gebouw dat doet denken aan een 1 ster hotelletje, met een receptie die nooit bemand is en enkel te bereiken is via het terras van het News Cafe dat op de benedenverdieping gelegen is.
Verder in dit gebouw geen enkele faciliteit.

Pros:

Mooie lobby, mooi terras en mooi zwembad

Cons:

Wij hadden 'Ocean Drive' kamers, gelegen in een apart gebouw dat geen connectie heeft met het hoofdgebouw. Dus als je wil ontbijten, naar het zwembad gaan of naar de bar moet je over straat stappen van het ene gebouw naar het andere. De ingang van ons gebouw is klein, sfeerloos en geeft indruk van zeer goedkoop hotel. De kamers zijn groot maar zeer donker en wettigen de meerprijs niet

A wonderful stay in Miami.
Pros:

The roof pool was excellent, the room was very pleasant and clean and the staff were really helpful. There is nothing that you could not like.

Good, but not good enough.
Pros:

Great location and super friendly staff. We had good time overall, but the hotel is far off from modern standards. We got a free access to Wynwood Walls and a discount to local restaurants: Oh! Mexico and The News Cafe. A nice pool on the rooftop, we liked the decor too.

Cons:

Uncomfortable beds. Double bed is approx. 130cm wide, so it was impossible for us to have a good sleep. We stayed there for 5 nights and were swapping beds every night so that every one could get at least one night of a good sleep. You can hear every noise coming from the corridor, including security talking on the walkie-talkie at 4 am right in front of your door. The housekeeping goes down to having your beds made. During our whole stay the washbasin was cleaned once, floors were never cleaned and dusty. We used the rooftop swimming pool once, but the day before it was raining and the mattresses were still cold and wet- apparently it takes long for them to dry and no one takes them off when it rains. The elevator is old and you have to wait really long for it.
