Great hotel & location
Pros:

Lovely hotel, very clean, comfortable beds, excellent location near all shops & restaurants. Underground parking, $10 per night but worth it. IGA supermarket across the road.

Great location!
Pros:

Excellent location right in the centre of Banff & 1 minute walk to the ski shuttle bus. Very friendly staff. Clean rooms and fair facilities, particularly liked the sauna. 🥵
Not so keen on the in-house restaurant ’farm & fire’ but that’s another story…

Don’t stay in rooms 160 and 161!!!!
Pros:

We were delayed on our flight from Kamloops by 9 hours! I rang the hotel earlier to say we’d been delayed. They advised me that they would hold our room, even though it had been paid for for the next 3 nights… the girl on the desk informed me that our rooms were on separate floors which I said was ok. When we arrived at 1:15an we were in side by side rooms on the ground floor. Rooms 160 and 161. These rooms were hideous!!! Noisy, ice machine outside our room, lift and a door that people went out of that vibrated the bed head and shook our room!!! The fridge didn’t work and basically, it wasn’t the room we originally booked!!! They relocated us due to our late arrival. The hotel was fully booked so it was no use asking for a relocation. I left my email and phone number for the manager to contact me and as of yet, a week later, I have heard nothing! The hotel was in a great location with lovely staff and a great restaurant. However, this really tainted our holiday as there was a general lack of care once you checked out! I would still like to hear from the manager regarding the original cost of the rooms we booked and the cupboards at the end of the corridor we received!!!
