It’s in a gorgeous setting. Staff are nice and helpful, very good service at the restaurant. Bed was comfy. Good cocktails and wine list.
It’s a bit dated and it didn’t seem very organised. The food was fine, breakfast was very expensive. We spent time in the sauna/spa- it was relaxing, decor was a bit tired and the showers needed a good clean and regroutting.
The staff, the grounds, the buildings, the spa, the room, very clean throughout the hotel and the room. Very accommodating staff from arrival to departure. Went above and beyond for us every day. Food was incredible absolutely amazing. The location was great close to shops and bluewater. Nothing negative to say. Will definitely go back! 😀 the price was also very reasonable as we got access to gym, spa, a huge room, parking and complimentary breakfast for 3 days!

The staff were friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble, a great team! We had an executive twin room which was a good size, lovely and clean and the beds were fresh and comfortable. The aircon was very welcome too! The coffee in the room was very good, from a pod machine, and we had everything else we needed, including fresh bottled water and even a magnified mirror in the bathroom which really helped me put my mascara on. Breakfast and spa facilities were included in the deal price and both were exceptional! The choice and quality at breakfast was first class, everything tasted fresh and the service was great. There were lovely fresh flowers on all the tables which was a nice touch. We loved the pool, jacuzzi and steam room and fresh towels were supplied on every visit. I would thoroughly recommend a stay at this hotel and would be more than happy to stay here again.
Overall, the hotel was wonderful. Ok, it could do with a bit of a refurb in places but this didn't detract from our stay. My only real issue was the noise in our room at night. We were in room 6 and I think it was coming from air con units/extraction outside the room. My sleep was completely disrupted by this low, deep hum all night, particulary on our last night. In retrospect, I should have asked for a change of room after the first night and I'm sure the hotel would have been able to arrange this. I think this is something that really needs to be addressed by the hotel as this issue kept me from rating it as highly as I would have otherwise.

Bedroom was a nice size, bed very comfortable, in a quiet part of the hotel. My partner swam in the pool and enjoyed the experience. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food at dinner both nights was great too.
They sent an email 2 hours to check in that my reservations is cancelled. Made the booking about 3 weeks in advance. Be careful as this can happen to you too.
