Springhill Suites By Marriott Orlando Altamonte Springs

This was, without question, the most unacceptable hotel experience I have ever encountered. Upon entering the room, my wife, my son, and I immediately observed visible mold on the windows, hair present on both the toilet and in the shower, and heavily soiled air-conditioning vents. The room was also unreasonably small and materially inconsistent with the size, condition, and appearance advertised in the listing.
Due to these unsanitary and unacceptable conditions, I promptly contacted the front desk. The front desk attendant explicitly stated that, because we had checked in less than one hour earlier, the reservation would be canceled and a full refund would be issued. Relying on this assurance, I returned to the room and secured alternate accommodations for my family.
While we were in the process of removing our belongings, the manager approached me and stated that only a partial refund would be provided and that the first night’s charge would not be refunded. I informed the manager that the front desk had clearly represented that a full refund would be issued. The manager denied this, adopted a confrontational tone, and dismissed my concerns entirely.
Had I been accurately informed that only a partial refund would be provided, I would not have booked alternate lodging or incurred an additional expense of $120. Instead, I acted in reasonable reliance on the hotel’s explicit representation. Given the unsanitary room conditions, the misleading information provided by staff, and the manager’s aggressive and unprofessional conduct, I was concerned for the safety and well-being of my wife and son and felt forced to leave the property immediately.
Based on the unsafe and unsanitary conditions, the material misrepresentation of the room, and the contradictory and misleading statements made by hotel personnel, the refusal to issue a full refund constitutes deceptive and improper business practices. I will be formally disputing this charge.

I love the evening staff. Mark and Aisha were amazing! Love their energy and the professionalism they showed. Mark is super professional and informative. Aisha is super sweet and helpful. I would return just for their service.

Staff were very pleasant

Ms. Sandy and Mr. Roan were excellent. Their service was above par. Also the room cleaning attendant were excellent. They took care of me to detail. I give them 5 STAR. Will stay back.

The staff is super nice, kind, and accommodating.

This hotel is very old and pretty worn down though. I am not sure why it has such high reviews. Our room smelled so musty and the a/c did not work. They were very helpful and gave us another which smelled better and the a/c worked. The rooms were fine and beds were comfortable. I am sure it is nice enough and passes the standard but we had stayed at a new hotel near the airport and so it was a big contrast. The hallways are so dark!! and the elevator was a bit eery and creepy. Loved the staff but wouldn't stay here again.

I cannot say enough about the Altamonte Springs, FL location of SpringHill Suites. I was there longer than expected as my house suffered from a plumbing leak. The staff went out of their way to make things as pleasant as possible. Sandy seemed to always be there to welcome me with a smile and ask about my day and Mark made sure he let me know that he was happy to help, even if it meant a nice bottle of water on a hot day. Toby went out of his way to help me with the TV and a couple of other things to help make the room have some of the conveniences of my home. I truly appreciated those above and beyond acts of kindness while keeping what is expected of a Marriott property. I must also mention the housekeeping staff. The rooms were very clean and the girls were on hand for any additional needs ie: extra towels. The hotel also pumped up the breakfast to make everything a notch above the rest. Everyday they offered a protein, oatmeal bar, and of course the kids favorite waffle bar. Thank you again for helping to get me through this trying time in a very pleasant manner.

The room was very clean. We used the pullout bed. The space was perfect and very convenient for the teenager in our family. She personalized the space with her accessories. We enjoyed the breakfast. The staff was very nice. We will stay Springhill Suites again. You will enjoy your stay there too.

Great Customer Service. The rooms were very nice and clean. We travel to Orlando a few times throughout the year and will make this Hotel our “go to” stay Hotel when we’re in Orlando.

Clean room and friendly staff

MARK at the front desk was amazing I had problem connecting to the Wi-Fi. I asked someone earlier and they told me a whole lot of nothing but Mark made I simple and easy for me give that guy a raise

Excelente hotel

Nice hotel, good location

They checked someone else in to my room that was reserved under my name and charged my card that was already on file from my reservation. I went to my assigned room who already had someone in it.
Now I have 2 charges on card one is supposed to fall off but this is concerning that this happened in the 1st place. When I went to check out there was another person who had been doubled charged too.
