Drag Racing at the Club
Pros:

We love this hotel have stayed here multiple times. The restaurants around the hotel and convenience to the convention center are top notch. The staff is amazing as well.

Cons:

I'm not sure what the heck was going on but it sounded like drag racing at a club in our room I spent a decent chunk of change for a nice hotel, in a great location but was very disappointed by this. They did end up moving us rooms at 10:30 pm that night as we had to be up early the next day. It's just a bummer that this happened because the staff, facilities and location are awesome!

Pros:

This is a beautiful property with a great location to the Convention Center.

Cons:

I didn’t see when booking that there is only Valet parking at a cost of $45 which wouldn’t have been a deal beaker but is nice to know ahead of time.

The staff makes staying in the busy city SO worth it!!
Pros:

It is definitely a beautiful property. You do walk in the doors & go WOW! This is top tier. Every staff member that we encountered was very welcoming & so kind. From the valets to check in to wait staff. I had never been in that part of Columbus before so it was overwhelming. But it was so nice to meet so many helpful staff. And I loved that it was just a few mins from some of the activities I had planned for my family. That was very convenient too.

Cons:

I wasn’t super thrilled about getting a room right in front of the elevator. I think on a busier time that would’ve been awful but we stayed when it wasn’t bustling with guests so it was fine because of that. And be ready to pay for staying on the property if you don’t wish to park miles from the establishment. It’s 45$ a night & you have to use their valet service. I feel Booking wasn’t very clear about that part. It’s a nice service if you wish to use it.

Pros:

The hotel was clean and close to everything. The staff was helpful and very polite.

Cons:

I did not like that you spend money for the hotel and the only parking available was valet parking for 45 dollars. The beds wasn't the most comfortable.

Wouldn’t stay again, here’s why
Pros:

We very often choose Hampton because, while they differ in quality from hotel to hotel, they are consistently clean and comfortable. This particular hotel has three strikes for me. First, the shower has a head that is clear across the shower stall from the adjustment handle. And it’s is nearly impossible to set the right temp. It’s also impossible to fully explain, but suffice to say, annoying as all hell after several minutes of freezing to scalding. Second, during my three night stay my room was never made up. Bed never made, trash, towels, coffee. Nothing. Third, and speaking of coffee, the in room coffee is crap. The cheapest and worst in-room maker and pods they could find, for sure. And the pods use so much plastic! Such a waste. And each individual paper cup is separately wrapped in plastic. I’m all for plastic for cleanliness but this is just an abundance of waste and pollution. The people are really nice though. But this is all corporate greed. They’ve lost a loyal customer.
