This is always out first choice as we appreciate the kitchen facilities and locality to the marina.
Pros:

We requested a ground level room as we are seniors and we were accommodated. We had a marina view, but in the past had the ocean view which we prefer. That is not always available and we understand.

Cons:

The room appears to have been recently updated and it was lovely; however, some of the electrical outlets are old and do not work. I reported this to the desk. Also, there was no mat in the tub which was extremely slippery. I reported that hazard at check-out.

Staff was beyond rude.
Pros:

The property was decent definitely on the older side. We were in a remodeled room that was very good size.

Cons:

There was no AC. Was I even the refurbished room. There was no restaurant or anywhere to eat on property. It was also under staff. Felt very much like a motel.

Pros:

The staff was excellent. WiFi was sketchy; but the staff brought in a tower that made it acceptable. The hotel is not air-conditioned; but the ocean breeze made it not an issue. The view was excellent and the location was convenient to all shops and restaurants. We would stay there again as long as the weather was conducive to no AC. Once again, the accomodating staff was the best feature.

Love the location!
Pros:

The location of this property was exceptional! The exterior of the property is gorgeous and well kept. The beds were comfortable and the rooms are large. Everything was clean.

Cons:

It’s sad that a property with this location and potential is not kept up in the condition that it deserves. The exterior landscaping and upkeep is wonderful! The rooms have been recently renovated and are painted and are clean and the beds are comfortable, but the small details are less than expected. There were no cups in the room for water. It’s easy to tell that money is saved by inexpensive amenities like coffee and cups and soaps. And small repairs have been made but sloppily done. But you can’t beat the location! This property just deserves more love and TLC.

The location was beautiful!

Cons:

I paid for an upgrade to an apartment, but that didn't show up on their end. We were given a standard room. When we showed them our email confirmation with the list of what our apartment would have, they tried hard to find something open. We got a studio apartment. We liked it, but a few items weren't working in it. The staff wS wonderful about coming to help fix things.

We wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.
Pros:

The room was great with a good view of the water. We enjoyed its spaciousness and having a kitchen was a big plus even though we only stayed one night. The location was charming and calm despite its proximity to the freeway.

Cons:

There was not enough coffee and creamer provided and we would have appreciated tea as well.
The pool area and jacuzzi don't open until 9 AM. We would have liked to sit in the jacuzzi early in the morning before starting our day. As we only stayed one night the checkout time was 11:00 and we had to hurry to enjoy it once it was open.
