Oceanside Marina Suites

My family & I reserved a week stay and were evicted after only one night due to alleged “noise complaints.” The first complaint involved normal family activity, a toddler moving around the room. The second occurred when we briefly returned to the room late in the evening, ate for about 15 minutes, and then went to sleep. At no point were we engaging in excessive or disruptive behavior beyond what would reasonably be expected in a hotel environment.
Earlier that day, hotel staff gave us permission to have drinks at the pool area as long as drinks were poured into cups they provided. We followed these instructions by bringing the drinks and pouring them into the cups provided.
Despite this, Diane approached us at the pool & began yelling that no glass bottles were allowed in the pool area. I calmly explained that we had been told we could pour the drinks into cups, and we were actively doing so. Diane responded in a hostile manner, stating, “How hard is that to understand? No glass bottles at the pool.”
They did not clearly communicate that glass was prohibited, and instead only instructed us to pour beverages into cups. This interaction was unnecessarily aggressive and unprofessional. Before we had the opportunity to fully comply by returning the beverages to our room, we were asked to leave the property
When we addressed the situation with hotel management, they refused to provide any refund for the unused nights, despite the eviction cutting our stay significantly short. This felt both unfair and inconsistent with reasonable customer service standards.
Being removed from a paid accommodation with little warning, under circumstances involving normal and permitted behavior, caused significant inconvenience for my family.

I called to notifyvthat we left our pillows but still havent heard back from staff after 5 days

The pictures did not match the room. The bathroom pipes had a weird almost mildew/sewer smell. Whatever renovations they did to the property were just a coat of paint. The beds were uncomfortable. Really disappointed.

The room we stayed in could use some work. Floor tiles as you enter room had chipped out holes and the sink in the kitchen should have had cabinet doors or at least a covering so you don’t have to look at pipes. Also it was quite noisy at night. The doors to the bedrooms were not solid but had open slats and if someone was talking in another room it was like they were right next to you. Get some real doors so there can be privacy. The noise also came at night when the room above us was occupied. You could hear every movement and it was loud and after 10 pm.

My sister joined me and my husband to see our son participate in the annual Ironman triathlon. As she prepared for bed, we pulled out the bed from the couch. We were horrified to see that the mattress was stained and filthy with hair on it. They need to check and replace these sofa bed matts when cleaning the rooms.
Also, there is no elevator for the handicapped, so if making reservations here, make sure to request a lower level room.

needs better customer service with amenities

no elevators.. I had to get my workout in by carrying my luggage up and down the stairs but i guess no harm done, unless I were to have fallen down the stairs with my luggage. That would not have been good.

The pool was a tad cold for me, but my daughter went in. We didn’t have a/c but with the fans it was just fine because we were so close to the water. I didn’t realize that there were no elevators but that’s on me and I wouldn’t have it any other way because the view made up for it all.
