Pros:

Location was perfect for what we wanted. The food in the restaurant for our evening meal was really nice. Breakfast was buffet style and a great selection to choose from. Staff on reception and breakfast/Restraunt team very helpful and friendly.

When I checked in they said we've upgraded you to superior room. There was nothing superior about it. It was the same standard room on website. Room absolutely freezing. Told reception twice they said turn the radiator up. Bathroom cracked and old. If that was superior I'd hate to see the standard. Bar area freezing. On the Sunday told at 11. 30 am couldn't get a pot of tea as no staff till 3 although on the site says restaurant available for food/drink from 9.30am till 9.pm. This is a 4 star hotel!!!

Windows could not be opened.
Air conditioning didn’t work.
Food was basic for the star rating.
And your lost property system failed me - my very specific notebook disappeared a short time after I had misplaced it.

Room floor was uneven so felt like a fun house, window didn’t open or close meaning wind whistling all night, probable leak around window as hole area had been filled and left unsanded and unpainted, aircon not functional, no fridge despite paying more for a better room, bathroom tap leaking, overall a tired outdated hotel that doesn’t live up to my experience at other Leonardo hotels.
