Emplacement magnifique, prestations à la hauteur de ce genre d'établissement (dans la chambre, le bar, le restaurant, le petit-déjeuner), personnel très professionnel et sympathique, et surtout ... la vue depuis notre chambre, face au lac, qui donne envie d'y rester toute la journée !

The view was amazing. The staff were the friendliest I have experienced. The food/breakfast was perfect. Very hard to find anything negative about this place. We celebrated my wife's birthday here and it was amazing.
There were some repairs happening in the jacuzzi and we could not use it. Would have been great if we could. But other than that it was perfect.

Beautiful views, staff very friendly and attentive, rooms very comfortable. Hotel and Spa was very relaxing. Staff couldn’t do enough to help and even sent me back some belongings I had left behind- even the parcel was wrapped nicely with care!

We booked Aghadoe Heights to celebrate our engagement, and there is a lot to love about the hotel.
The location and views are absolutely stunning, overlooking the lakes, mountains and Killarney National Park. Our room was spacious, luxurious and extremely comfortable, with a beautiful balcony facing the lake. The room itself really couldn't be faulted.
The food was another highlight. We had an excellent fine-dining experience in the restaurant and the quality of the food was fantastic. Staff throughout reception, the restaurant and bar were always polite and professional.
The indoor pool has beautiful views and there is also a lovely outdoor terrace overlooking the surrounding scenery. It is a very relaxing setting.
For the price we paid — we expected a little more in terms of personal service and attention to detail.
I had contacted the hotel beforehand to specifically tell them that we were staying to celebrate our engagement, and I paid for a bottle of Prosecco to be waiting in our room. The Prosecco was there as requested, but there was no card, note, congratulations or any small gesture from the hotel acknowledging our engagement.
We weren't expecting anything extravagant or expensive, but even a simple handwritten card saying "Congratulations" would have made a huge difference. For a luxury hotel at this price point, these are the little touches that make an occasion feel special. While the staff were professional and polite, the service sometimes felt quite clinical rather than particularly warm or personal.
The pool area was nice and very clean, with fantastic views, but we also felt that parts of it looked slightly dated compared with the standard of the bedrooms and other areas of the hotel. Some modernisation would make a significant difference.
The hotel also has EV charging spaces, which is very useful, although unfortunately they were all already occupied in the evening when we wanted to charge.
Overall, we had a very nice stay. The room was beautiful, the views were exceptional and the food was excellent. However, considering the price and the level of luxury associated with Aghadoe Heights, we came away feeling that something was missing. It was a very good hotel stay, but the lack of those small, thoughtful and personal touches meant our engagement stay didn't feel quite as special as we had hoped.
