Really friendly helpful staff!!

Arrived late after delayed ferry. The hotel staff were great very welcoming . Nothing was a bother even at a late hour. Brrakfast was excellent and the bedroom.sumptious.

We recently stayed at the Clandeboye Lodge Hotel and had a fantastic experience from the moment we arrived. Our room was cosy, comfortable, and a lovely place to unwind. If we were to make one small suggestion, it would be the addition of voiles or blinds on the windows, and perhaps a small fridge for convenience. Otherwise, the room was excellent.

We were extremely excited about the restaurant menu and couldn’t decide which starters to choose for our evening meal, so we visited the restaurant for lunch to sample a few. This turned out to be a great decision, especially as we enjoyed them with the complimentary glass of Prosecco included in our package.

When booking our dinner reservation, we requested our favourite table, and the staff kindly arranged this for us. The only improvement we would suggest is adding small lampshades to the table lamp for a softer ambience. That said, the meal itself was exceptional — one of the best we’ve had in a hotel — and the service exceeded that of many places we’ve stayed.

All bar and restaurant staff were friendly, attentive, and professional throughout. In particular, we would like to acknowledge our server, Andrea. It will come as no surprise to the hotel that her professionalism, customer interaction, and attention to detail are second to none. She truly elevated our dining experience.

Breakfast the next morning was equally impressive. We ordered a cooked breakfast, which did not disappoint and set us up perfectly for the day.

Overall, our stay was memorable for all the right reasons, and we are already looking forward to our next visit.

As always, the staff provide amazing professional, attentive and friendly service, each going out of their way to provide guest satisfaction.

The addition of the new Garden Room provides welcome comfortable space for dining. We will look forward to seeing the landscaping work completed when we next stay.

Fantastic helpful staff, beautiful room with lots of little touches like fresh fruit and bottled water which just enhanced the experience. Housekeeping was superb, and again so friendly and attentive. Would definitely book this hotel again

Great staff. Very comfy bed. Very convenient location for visiting friends and beauty spots. Excellent breakfasts. Good dinners.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Just wish we had longer ! The hotel is beautifully furnished the bedroom very comfortable and the staff really friendly. We ate in the Garden Room which has only recently opened. There was a great atmosphere in the room and again staff service first class. The food lived up to the rest of the hotel and steaks were fantastic. Couldn’t fault it - would love to go back.

We attended an event recently at the Clandeboye, and I was helping out with some of the organising. I was very impressed with this beautiful venue, and the staff were all extremely friendly and helpful, nothing was too much for them during setup and the entire event. The function rooms and the guest rooms are all gorgeous, and the food was also incredible. Highly recommend.

From the check in until the checkout my friend and I were blown away by every single moment of our overnight stay.
We both agreed there was not one single thing we could find fault with.
We were made to feel welcome by every member of staff we spoke to.
The food was delicious and presented beautifully.
Beds were so comfortable and the bathroom products felt luxurious.
We will be looking forward to our next stay.

We had our wedding at the Clandeboye in December 2025. From booking to the actual wedding day we cannot recommend our wedding team enough. Ian and Gia were available to answer any query we had before the day, nothing was a problem to add to make our day more personal to us and they were extremely knowledgeable in suggesting different elements to add to our day as well as recommendations of local vendors, who turned out to be amazing also. Ian and Gia are both so down to earth, they kept us in the craic and calm the whole way through the planning process, and we knew they would bring our vision to life on the day of the wedding, we cannot thank them enough for this. Our MC Graham looked after us on the day of the wedding, he was always just a few steps away making sure everything was running smoothly, even remembering little things like keeping us snacks aside while we had to get photos taken, keeping our drinks topped up all day, as well as keeping the bridal party informed on anything that was needed of them. When there were issues, Graham dealt with them discreetly on our behalf and nothing was too much trouble. With regards to the food, our guests are still talking about how much they enjoyed it and praised all of the staff for their attentiveness and politeness throughout the meal. The venue itself was beautifully decorated for Christmas which meant that on a rainy wedding day our photos still turned out great with plenty of locations to shoot inside and covered areas outside. A mention also for Angela who was so helpful in sorting the rooms for all of our guests, no request or amendment was too complicated for her to sort.
Overal,l we would not change a thing about our wedding day, the venue, the food and the staff could not have been faulted, thank you so much to the whole team for helping us pull off an amazing day!

We had a one night stay as a gift from family. It was our first time at the hotel and we found it a little confusing with two laps of the car park wondering where we were to go as the signage was poor. Fortunately there was a wedding car at the front building so we assumed then we had to go to the rear building.
Would definitely return again in the future. The staff were really friendly and helpful, and the food and service in the restaurant was excellent.

Everything, the staff were wonderful, friendly & accommodating. The rooms were spacious & comfortable. There was plenty of choice at breakfast & food served fresh & hot. Thankyou to all the staff, for making our stay an enjoyable one .

A lovely room with a very comfy bed. Lovely bathroom too.

I was honestly very impressed with everything the hotel had to offer , even though there is construction work going on at the moment outside the hotel. The hotel was the most affordable by far in the area, the staff are absolutely amazing and the rooms were by far one of the best I have stayed in and I stay in alot of hotels as a sales person. Not even to mention the amazing restaurant they have ,both Breakfast and dinner were 10star you have no need to even venture out. I will definitely be back , and will recommend to everyone I know.
