Clandeboye Lodge Hotel

Cannot praise this hotel/wedding venue highly enough, the food, accommodation, surroundings etc are first class. The bedrooms and public areas are very well appointed and extremely comfortable, staff were pleasant, friendly and happy to oblige with any request, special mention to Maggie on reception who was very helpful from our initial booking to check out!

We chose this hotel immediately after a wedding tour hosted by Gia. Experienced and friendly staff combined with modern, well laid out and spotless grounds made this an easy choice. All subsequent questions and queries were responded to quickly and the follow up meetings with Ian were just fantastic. This gentleman has so much knowledge and nothing escapes his oversight. The accommodation was perfect, reservation staff super friendly, and the food was top class. All the wedding vendors seemed to blend in and work hand in hand with the venue staff. Well done Ian , Gia and the events team.

We were at the hotel for a family wedding and everything was perfect. Meal was lovely and rooms for reception were beautiful. We had a lovely stay, the room was very comfortable and bed was one of the most comfortable hotel beds I have experienced. Great selection for breakfast.

The hotel is in a good location and the grounds are charming . The hotel interior is very chic and the Coq and bull restaurant is stunning . The food is very good .the staff are all friendly and helpful.
I would highly recommend staying there and we will be back again soon!

Always a lovely hotel to stay in. Lovely setting. Hotel main areas are full of ambience and relaxing and great for a glass of something nice. Bedrooms are luxurious and comfy. Room service was a treat. Never fails in its facilities and staff. Food is excellent., staff are so lovely.

Attended a family wedding and was very impressed with everything, from the bedroom which was spotless and a very comfy bed to our wedding meal and service which was five star! Food was unreal and plenty of it! Great selection at breakfast also. Highly recommend for both family/couple stays and would definitely recommend for a wedding!

We were at the hotel for a wedding - could not fault anything about our stay - we stayed two nights - ate in the Coq and Bull on the Friday - meal was fantastic and good value, lovely staff. Breakfast was excellent and as a wedding venue it ticked every box - highly recommend it.

The overall experience at Clandeboye Lodge was excellent. The warm atmosphere and ambience was noticeable upon entering the lobby. The bedroom was clean, comfortable and very welcoming. Staff were extremely friendly and Ryan looked after us well in the restaurant. Here, the food was of a very high quality as was the wine recommended by Ryan. Would definitely recommend this hotel and will stay again.

Staff are friendly and helpful . Food is wholesome and portions are generous . Ambience is welcoming . Garden room is beautiful with lots of light and garden view Weddings most days so a good vibe with splendid gardens

Comfortable and very relaxing stay. We were well looked after and the staff were attentive and friendly.

One suggestion would be a seat beside the lift for those with mobility issues who are waiting for it to come.

Fabulous staff and lovely restaurant and the food was exceptional. Very comfortable room. We enjoyed talking to Ryan and Shea about the menu and Shea is a font of knowledge when it comes to wine! Loved our stay with you.

Had a lovely stay with my husband to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. Reception staff were very warm and welcoming. We stayed in the dressing room suite which was a nice treat. Beautifully decorated and wonderful attention to detail from the dual 55” TV’s, books, accessories and voya hair, body and hand products. It felt so homely. Our room had a balcony, but unfortunately we didn’t use it as it had been raining prior to our arrival and the seat cushions were soaking. Food in the beautiful garden room restaurant was divine, service very attentive and the cocktails were excellent too. A fabulous stay and we look forward to returning soon. The only downside as a resident is that there isn’t what you would call a cosy residents bar. There are small seating areas dotted between the two dining areas and a sectioned off seating area near a window but you feel a bit disconnected from the bar itself. All very cosy but if you were with a lively gathering, I think you would feel very aware of your noise levels.

It was our first time back for a stay since we were married 10 years ago to the day. We were greeted so warmly on arrival. The personal touches and note in our room from staff was incredibly thoughtful. The room was immaculate and just they way we remembered it, an amazing throwback for us. Dinner was absolutely perfect for both food and atmosphere and the service couldnt have been any better. We loved every second off our stay and didn't want it to end. A truly wonderful experience and we absolutely recommend it to everyone. Thank you!

Angela was fabulous from making my initial enquiry by phone to arrival. My parents have some mobility issues and were allocated a perfect room - a wedding suite!! My room was superb - clean, perfectly appointed. We enjoyed a delicious meal with some friends - steak was delicious. Would recommend
