Good location, good breafast and comfortable room.
Pros:

The location is excellent, just a short walk from the metro station and Monastiraki Square. While the breakfast variety was simple, it was perfectly fine for my needs. The hotel is a bit old, but to me, that is part of its charm in this historic side of the city. Most importantly, the room was comfortable and clean.

Cons:

In the bathroom, I wasn't used to the open shower without a door or curtain. The floor does tend to get wet, but since there is a floor drain, it wasn't a big deal. I’m not sure if this is the case in all rooms, though. Also, it was a bit noisy late at night (like workers moving things or something like that), but it hardly bothered me (I always travel with earplugs just in case!).

Geweldig! Cecil hotel is een absolute aanrader als je Athenewil bezoeken.
Pros:

De lokatie is geweldig! Middenin het centrum.
Het ontbijt was top.
De kamer is ruim genoeg.
De kamer wordt dagelijks schoongemaakt, het bed opgemaakt, de badkamer schoon en droog gemaakt en nieuwe handdoeken gebracht
Top!

Cons:

Er is geen douche gordijn, dat is een beetje jammer omdat het toilet en de hele badkamer nat is na het douchen.

Pros:

24-Std.-Rezeption. Sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Mitarbeiter. Charmante, teilweise historische Einrichtung. Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Lebhafte Umgebung mit vielen Läden, Bars, Restaurants...

Cons:

Frühstück "typisch Griechisch". Leider hatte ich ein Zimmer mit Blick auf Mauern anderer Häuser (dafür aber kein Straßenlärm).

E minunată Atena !! E plină de viață ! Atmosferă plăcută, străzi animate ! Mai venim !!
Pros:

Este amplasat foarte bine. În zona monastiraki, la nici 5 min de metrou. Magazinele și terasele sunt accesibile.

Cons:

Nu mi a plăcut ca în baie după un duș toată apa se scurgea pe jos și rămânea acolo până a doua zi. Nu există cabină de duș ci doar o perdea care de la presiunea apei se lipea pe corp…
La baie la chiuvetă nu curgea apa rece, doar fierbinte …
Salteaua Patului matrimonial se desprindea de rama patului …

Pros:

Good location, close to everything. Clean room, low price, breakfast included.

Cons:

The bathroom rug was unexpectedly soaked with water so I wet my socks when I walked in. It would be nice if the guests were given a fresh, dry rug. I won't complain on breakfast, it was OK for me but it's really basic so don't expect much. Room was pretty small, OK for me as I was alone but take in consideration if you need more space.
