Tremendous location, central enough without being inundated with people like us (tourists). Very close to the Metro, busses and the wonderful Torvehallerne markets (great, relatively inexpensive place for breakfasts, etc). Great traditional design and features, but all in great shape. The staff were terrific, especially the woman on the first day who kindly and sensitively arranged a change of rooms. Nice feature the "cosy hour" from 17-18:00 with a free glass of wine each evening.
Europe (and most of the world) is experiencing a huge, unprecedented heat wave, of the kind unknown in many northern cities like Copenhagen. Like most older buildings throughout Copenhagen, and so many other cities, the hotel does not have air-conditioning. Beware, therefore of rooms on the south or west sides. Also, there is a open courtyard dinning space on the south side, which was very busy - and noisy - on the weekend nights. The rooms overlooking the street on the north side are therefore the best in summer. Some rooms are a tad small, but still certainly workable.
excellent location, comfortable room and access. Great breakfast. helpful professional staff. Room quiet even with it being on a lower floor street facing, black-out blinds may have helped
a mini fridge in the room would be nice, and although i did not need it the room had no A/C but had a fan.
We do not eat a big breakfast. The coffee and croissants at the front desk were perfect for our needs. And the service was excellent!
Nothing comes to mind.
Great location, close to restaurants, the metro and in a quieter, less-touristy part of town. Helpful staff, clean facilities, lovely lounge area.
It was a little stuffy with no a/c, but the windows open and they provide a very good fan.
