A realaxing stay in a lovely hotel with a great location.

Pros:

Service was outstanding and everyone was kind and helpful. The location was perfect, being right in the middle of Chester but was quiet. Breakfast was perfect and again service was spot on, a wide choice of continental options as well as a wide range of cooked. The room was lovely, and so comfortable.

NICE ROOM, BUT SLIGHTLY UNNECESSARILY FORMAL SERVICE
Pros:

We asked for a quiet room and were given a very quiet one on the top floor, away from elevators etc, which was great. The room was lovely and the bed very comfortable.

Cons:

Finding the car park for the hotel was difficult. The hotel did not provide clear instructions how to get there and we arrived into a maze of back corridors. Reception was over formal. For the price, we were surprised that the hotel only offered a continental breakfast and it was annoying that we had to book a specific time for breakfast and then wait for breakfast to be served to us, rather than having a breakfast bar. In spite of the breakfast room being very large and quite empty, we were at first offered seating right alongside another couple. All the alternatives seemed to have been set already for lunch (at 09:30 hrs). Some of the service seemed very inflexible.

Not what we expected
Pros:

The rooms were small and out dated, dirty splashes up the walls and black marks on the wallpaper, needs decorating in the main corridors etc,I have stayed at many hotels and this was over priced for what it is made out to be,would I stay for £162 again the answer is no!

I recently stayed at your hotel and would like to share my experience. Overall, the hotel was nice, and most of the staff were professional and helpful. However, I encountered a significant issue during breakfast that needs your attention.

When I ordered breakfast at the restaurant, I was informed that it was not included in my booking. This was surprising, as my reservation clearly stated that breakfast was part of the package. I approached the reception to resolve the matter, but the gentleman staff member I spoke with was rude and unprofessional, showing little willingness to assist.
