Had a lovely stay in the countryside
Pros:

Surrounded by countryside, my room was spacious, clean, appealing and equipped with a very comfy bed. Enjoyed my stay and a visit to Marwell Zoo, which is a short walk away. Bar and Restaurant offered a good selection of food and drink and tea and coffee was available in the room. Very good value for money.

Cons:

Breakfast did not include sausages.

Brilliant service with warm welcoming, friendly staff. Food is fantastic and bar reasonably priced.
Pros:

Very welcoming staff, Breakfast was fantastic and had an evening meal which was amazing. Great sharers 3 for £22 so shared them all between us. Main meals were great value for money and very tasty. Location is great and in the middle of where we had planned to go and just across the road from the zoo which we did attend.

Cons:

I think in such a great location with excess to the outdoors. There was nothing on offer. A onsite park for children would be great or games room. There were no walks or treasure hunts around the surrounding grounds which is all forest. This hotel could offer so much more other than the swimming pool and fitness suite. Unfortunately it was still being renovated when i visited.

good staff, nice atmosphere
Pros:

i like the comfort, casual style of the hotel

Cons:

the only thing i dont like about the hotel are the showers- you stand on an ultra slippery white plastic with no wall grip to hang on to - there will definitely be a broken leg/ankle there soon - the foot surface needs roughing up/something attached to it to allow a foot to grip when wet and also i suggest a wall handle

Hotel renovation is underway. Balcony was a bonus in the heatwave. Wonderfully quiet!
Pros:

Wifi is excellent, and hotel is innovative in layout but got everythiing right. Breakfast was better than I had expected, and hotel surprisinaly quiet given a the family location and holiday period. Staff really nice.

Not many healthy options - fresh fruit, plain yoghurt

Nice bed and location… not the premium hotel experience that I had previously received here
Pros:

Location is great, room was very nice

Cons:

No sausages at breakfast, yet stated full English. Not able to check out with staff member, sign in reception advised us to leave the key on the desk which we did. Then had a phone call several hours later asking us to check out and return the key. Swimming pool and spa area currently being renovated, shame because it was great last time I came.

Loved it
Pros:

We have been before a d again we were not disappointed.
The staff were very friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. The staff are exceptional and can only hope they are paid well!
The room was lovely and clean ! Even given a water bowl for our dog without asking (we had brought one). I only wish we got the name of the lady in reception who went out of her way to make sure we were happy etc
The food was lovely as well.
Thank you to the staff your hard work and friendliness is noted and appreciated. The staff are a credit to the hotel.
It was a lovely touch adding the birthday balloons (which I forgot to bring home) and card. Thank you

Cons:

There's not much to not like but I would suggest a fridge in the room especially for the summer months. The pool was not in use and it would have been nice as it is summer but really theres nothing we didnt like more recommendations.
