Radisson Hotel & Conference Centre Edmonton

The hotel sent a thank you for your stay text before We'd even booked in, then I was billed despite the booking being a pay at hotel reservation!
Food was not the best, a teenager could reheat the same food!
Bathroom set up was a bit strange, sink was outside of the shower and toilet area.plug in on bedside lamp didn't work.

Well to be honest our last morning leaving we couldn't have a shower for a 7 hours in the vehicle jam together. I notified the front desk as I was leaving when they ask .. they didn't seem to register that it happened and they should probably look into the heater for room 233 . Honestly im surprised they didn't off a discount to the next time we visit..
But overall everything else was excellent.

Would have been nice to have a hot tub.

Was very outdated. The room smelled like it was previously smoked in. Bathroom door would get stuck closed. We had requested extra towels when booking as there would be 3 of us staying in the room. Will not stay at this hotel again.

Punkt 1: Wir haben ein Zimmer für 4 Personen (2 Erwachsene, 2 Kinder) mit Frühstück gebucht. Beim Check in wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass wir nur einen Voucher für das Frühstück haben gerne aber für je 10 Dollar 3 weitere kaufen könnten. Wir fanden inakzeptabel und nach langen Diskussionen haben wir 1 einen weiteren als Kulanz erhalten.
Wir waren sehr enttäuscht und haben am Morgen entschieden gar nicht zu frühstücken und die Voucher komplett zurück zugeben.
Darauf hat der Mitarbeiter (der gleiche wie am Vorabend) Kontakt zum Supervisor aufgenommen. Dieser hat die Anweisung gegeben "Gibt halt 4 Voucher raus". Wir fanden das in Summe sehr enttäuschend.

Punkt 2: Für ein Hotel dieser Kette erwartet man auch mehr Ordnung und Sauberkeit. Im Bereich vorm dem Eingang lag Müll, die Glastüren waren verschmiert und verschmutzt und die Teppiche in den Gängen nicht ordentlich gesaugt.

At check-in, the front desk gave me a key to a room that was completely different from the one I had booked! I reserved a room with two queen beds for four guests, but the room they gave me had only one bed!
I went back to the front desk and told them that they had given me the wrong room. However, their response was that they did not have a room available for me! This was completely unacceptable!
The hotel blamed the booking platform for not informing me that the hotel was undergoing renovations, and then they offered me another room that I WOULD HAVE TO PAY FOR! I had already paid 100% of my reservation, and, absurdly, they wanted me to pay even more for another room because they could not provide the room I had originally booked and paid for!

I was not asking for anything beyond what I had originally booked, and the hotel itself had confirmed my reservation! I never received any communication whatsoever from either the hotel or the booking platform regarding this issue.

They told me they had no way to accommodate me, that they did not have the room I had reserved, and that they would TRY TO FIND ACCOMMODATION FOR ME AT ANOTHER HOTEL NEARBY!
I refused and told them that they would either have to provide an additional bed for the room or give me another room with another double/queen bed.
Eventually, after some time, they miraculously managed to find another room for me with one queen bed, but as a result, my family had to stay in separate rooms for the entire stay!

The toilet seat was loose, something you should notice if you clean it. But my hubby fixed it. I had to go ask for tea as there was only a green one in the room, that looked like it had been there a long time.

Where do I start. The property is so worn down. The staff are unhelpful, not communicative, don’t solve the MANY problems we had in only a 2 night stay.

Doors were busted, ac didn’t work, toilets broke without anything to fix and left us with no toilet for almost a full day (again only a two night stay), rooms were UNCLEAN (pubes in the freaking sinks, blood stains on show curtains, feet marks on headboard, AND MORE), smoke detectors smashed into walls/ holes in walls and even vandalized rooms.

Find ANYWHERE ELSE TO STAY. wouldn’t even comp for the horrible times. Switched rooms 3 times.

My time at the hotel was not long to make an observation outside of my room. It was a very busy trip. I left early mornings and returned late. However, there's always room for improvements.
