There wasnt really a whole lot to like about this place, sadly. I think location would be the best thing. Its about a 7 min drive to west ed. I cancelled my booking at a different hotel because the Radisson had a pool and we were traveling with my 3 kids. The breakfast was decent, its a little dining area restaurant downstairs. It was pricy though, for the quality of food. Go elsewhere to eat. Skip the dishes actually came to our room with our food which was nice.
Where do I begin? We showed up, it took 30 mins to check in to our room. ONE bottle of water, the room was not that clean to begin with. There was a sign on the pool door saying closed. I asked when it would be open and was given no answer. The hair and body products they use sucked big time. We ran out of towels, as we are a family of 5. I called down to the front desk and I was told they were busy and short staffed so it would be about 20 minutes. I said no problem, an hour later I called down again and was told id need to go down and get them myself. Sure, whatever. My husband went and grabbed them. Day 2, pool was still closed. We went to west ed for the day so we weren't there much that day. We put the dnd sign on the door so didnt expect any housekeeping. Came back around 5, pool was open but the water was FREEZING. Kids still had fun swimming. Day 3 we spent the entire day at my mom in laws. I did not put the dnd sign up because we needed.more towels, water for.coffee, toilet paper was out. Etc. After a very long day we returned to our room to have a sign slid under our door saying there was no housekeeping today due to staff issues. I requested someone come up and at least bring new towels and tidy etc. In the meantime I took the kids to the pool which was still cold and let the housekeeper do his thing.
That night we decided to order from the restaurant downstairs. Coast something or other. I ordered soup and pizza. When i called down there, i asked if i could get room service. I was told no. There is only 2 staff members on. Fair enough. We picked it up. The soup was literally thick flour water with a hint of salt and little bits of veggies and a few pieces of barley. (It was beef barley soup apparently) the most awful soup I've ever had. The pizza was okay. I wouldnt say it was great. All their food had this strange seasoning on it that would linger after it was done. It was really off. Truthfully at this point I wasnt expecting much.
Staff , beds and pool , and decent price for a 3 night stay.
Pets welcomed , 25$ a night .
Heater in room broken, was not fixed but they did give us a space heater that worked well.
Breaker in room went out, was fixed quickly though.
The whole facility is just pretty run down, needs some TLC. Paint, ceiling, carpets.
Pool needs to be warmer, I run hot so am rarely cold, but I did get chilly in pool.
