Lovely hotel but beware building work next door
Pros:

This is a lovely hotel with really nice modern, comfortable rooms however…next door to the hotel is a building site and the noise from here which starts at 7.45 a.m. is detrimental, particularly if you want a little lie-in.
Just be aware of this before booking your stay. If we had been aware we would have chosen to stay elsewhere on this occasion.

Nice hotel in a great location
Pros:

My husband and I have just stayed at RCL for 4 nights whilst visiting Banff.
Plus points - large modern, clean room. Excellent location - only 5-10 minute stroll into downtown Banff.
The staff didn’t really engage with us so I cannot comment on service. I found the entrance and restaurant area a little tired and dated.

Nice family rooms in a nice location
Pros:

Great location just a bit out of town but a nice strall. Nice clean rooms and big as well for a family of 4. Reception good service. Eating options are a bit underwhelmed and could be better.

Awesome Concierge
Pros:

I did not stay at this hotel but I did use the concierge here and Neil was amazing! He was so informative and helpful! I booked the gondola in Banff and visiting Lake Louise and Moraine lake. Both were wonderful experiences! Make sure to use Neil if you are in Banff.

A Memorable Stay Thanks to Neil!
Pros:

The Royal Canadian Lodge is in an excellent location, making it a great base for exploring Banff. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and offers a warm, relaxing atmosphere. The rooms are spacious, well maintained, and provide excellent value for money.

The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. A special mention goes to Neil, who is truly a ⭐️ star. He went above and beyond to make our stay memorable with his kindness and outstanding hospitality.

I highly recommend the Royal Canadian Lodge and would happily stay here again.
