Comfortable
Pros:

It’s near everything in downtown Banff the room was large and comfortable the place is clean

Cons:

The restaurant was very slow in delivering the food they need more chefs the food was good we only ate for breakfast the pancakes and French toast were very good the coffee was mediocre it tasted like instant coffee.
The restaurant staff were good but the food was delivered late someone ordered just toast and butter but waited for 45 minutes most of the customers were annoyed that their order didn’t come out yet I heard them complaining it’s sad because the food was good.

Pros:

Well when we got there, though we couldn’t get our rooms next to each other we were given upgraded rooms which was really nice. So we enjoyed the room. The hotel clean and worth every penny. Walkable to town and away from all the noise.

Would recommend for families traveling to Banff
Pros:

Quiet, comfortable beds, recently renovated modern rooms, polite and helpful staff, refrigerator in room and access to a microwave in the lobby, walking distance to shops and restaurants.

Nice hotel
Pros:

Easy walking distance to town centre

Cons:

Being told we couldnt have our drinks in the bar as a group was due in within an hour. Bar staff served us but would not let us enjoy our drinks in the bar and there were no seats in the lobby so we had to take them up to our room. So we only had the one drink. Pity there was no other space offered to us other than our room

Un bel endroit un peu cher toutefois.
Pros:

La chambre et la literie sont de très bon niveau
Le parking est très pratique.

Cons:

Le petit déjeuner n'est pas à la hauteur de son prix de 33$ par personne.
Les taxes payées sont supérieures à celles annoncées sur booking à la réservation.

Room was very good, bed was very comfortable.

Cons:

Construction is construction, however when we booked we were told the spa would still be available. When we showed up we were told there was a change and the spa was unavailable. Somewhat disappointing.

e booked and paid for a King room for a 4-night stay, at a higher rate than rooms available for same-day arrivals. However, on the first night we were assigned a very small room that did not match the room type or photos shown when we made the reservation.

The room had only one bed and did not even include a luggage rack. There was no proper place to store our luggage except on the floor. We were told that this was supposedly the best room available that night.

The next morning, I spoke with the front desk and explained that the room did not match what we booked. The front desk staff then moved us to the room next door, which was significantly larger and much more in line with what we originally expected and reserved.

This raised an important concern: if a suitable room was actually available, why were we not assigned it when we checked in? We paid for that room category and believe it should have been reserved for us. If the booked room type was unavailable or sold to another guest, we believe there should have been compensation or a refund for the difference.

We raised this concern with the front desk, but so far we have not received any update or resolution.

We respectfully request a review of this matter and consideration for appropriate compensation or a rate adjustment.

Friendly and helpful
Pros:

Very helpful staff, friendly. Good sized room. clean towels. Easy access into town .

Cons:

I was initially put into a room at the back, with a very noisy aircon machine outside. I changed room at 1.30 a.m as I couldn't sleep! Rather slow service in the dining area.

My unhappy experience
Pros:

I liked the quick response of house keeping. The room was clean. I like the location, it is in a quite area.

Cons:

Before I booked the room, you didn't tell me that the hotel is going under renovation. Only after I booked it, I received the information regarding the hotel. I also requested a quite room. There was noise starting in the morning and I have my senior mother with me. I booked premier room because from previous experience, I knew the wash room is spacious. This time, I was given a room in the far corner, and the bathroom door when opened is very close to the sink, which is very narrow to pass through. There is no table in the room as it used to be in the premier. The pictures you have for the rooms are old, from before the hotel underwent renovation. The house keeping manager showed me a king size room with pullout couch as an option, but it was not convenient for us. I was stuck with the room i booked and couldn't change it. I couldn't cancel it because it was not refundable. I stayed in this hotel many times, but this time, I was not happy.

Ok not very great
Pros:

Service was ok

Cons:

The pool and hot tub was closed for renovation and this was not notified before. They did offer us the service in anothee hotel but it did not make sense to walk with swimming costumes on the road to be able to use the service in another hotel, it was extremely disappointing
