Pros:

Wir sind heute ausgecheckt und ich muss sagen, dass das Personal sehr zuvorkommend, freundlich und professionell war. Das Hotel verfügt über keinen Aufzug, aus gesundheitlichen Gründen benötigten wir ein Zimmer Nähe vom Erdgeschoss. Das Team hat es vorab organisiert und hatte das Familienzimmer so toll vorbereitet, die Kinder waren super happy. Der Pool war für uns vollkommen ausreichend . Wir sind mit dem Auto angereist und die nette Dame am Empfang hat uns mit Geduld alles zu dem Sytem für Londons Straßen und so Autobahnen erklärt. Sollte das Ziel sein, London zu erkunden würde ich nicht ohne Auto anreisen. Die einstündige Autofahrt war super für die Aktivitäten vorher und nach den vielen Schritten. Parkplätze kann man ganz einfach in der Innenstadt mieten. Frühstück ( unter anderem typisch englisch) war ebenfalls super- uns hat nichts gefehlt obwohl wir kein Schweinefleisch essen. Insgesamt macht die Anlage einen sehr sauberen Eindruck, ein kleiner Minuspunkt ist das Badezimmer. Das ist schon in die Jahre gekommen und war nicht wie alles andere einwandfrei gereinigt. Eins ist klar- Wir kommen jederzeit gerne wieder- danke für alles liebes Holiday Inn Team .

Over priced and would not stay again

Close to event we were attending in the area, due to proximity to motorway

Cons:

Over priced and several add ons when we arrived, partly our fault for not wanting breakfast both mornings. We stayed for 2 nights, if we had pre-booked breakfast for both mornings it would have cost £50 extra. However as we only wanted it for one morning we were charged £42. Parking also charged.
No lifts to rooms and a rabbit warren on stairs.

Friendly staff and convenient location
Pros:

Convenient location for Eurotunnel. Comfy big bed and spacious room. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Stayed here regularly. Would return subject to getting a value for money room rate.

Cons:

Additional cost for parking. Same secure registration system but included in overnight rate at other similar hotels.

We had a very good stay, this hotel was ideal for us visiting family.
Pros:

The staff were so obliging by giving us a lovely ground floor room, as I had just had a bad fall before we arrived, and couldn't use the stairs. I was so grateful for this. The room had easy chairs, a large and very comfortable bed, and a lovely bath. As I was injured, I appreciated the handles! Also a fridge with cans of water, which was good, as the weather was hot. Very good buffet breakfast in the light and airy dining room.
Being just off the motorway, the hotel is in an ideal position for travellers.

Cons:

We didn't like the all day menu at all. There were few gluten free options, and although one lunch was fine, other menu choices were disappointing, to say the least. But this didn't spoil our most enjoyable stay, as we were mostly eating out with family.

Deeply frustrating not to be allowed to enter the fitness centre at 9:10pm.

It had a fitness centre (apparently).

Cons:

I wasn’t allowed to use it. The 9pm cut off entry was set in stone, despite the gym being open
until 10pm. There is no good reason for this - my health and safety was given as one non-reason, but even the woman telling me agreed that was absurd. As the fitness centre was the only reason for choosing the hotel, I find this level of petty-mindedness infuriating, especially when there are posters saying well do anything we can to make your stay 100% successful.

Sauber schöner Eingangsbereich, Frühstück ganz ordentlich.

Cons:

Zimmer in die Jahre gekommen, Autobahn war hörbar, Fenster alt, daher kaum vernünftig zu schließen.

Pros:

Ausser den unten aufgeführten infos, war der Aufenthalt so wie wir es von holiday inn gewohnt sind gut.

Cons:

Das Frühstück war für meine Frau unzureichend. Sie wollte etwas Glutenfreies zum Frühstück, es war aber nichts vorhanden, obwohl wir per Mail als auch bei der Ankunft nachgefragt haben und mit 8:00 Uhr morgens war es ja nun zu spät. Die einzige Kaffeemaschine, war dann auch noch ausgefallen, konnte aber repariert werden. Der Rest war in Ordnung, so wie wir es holiday inn gewohnt sind gut.
