Pros:

Super Lage für unsere Reise nach Cornwall. Wir haben gut geschlafen und das Frühstück fanden wir super, es war alles vorhanden. Personal war freundlich und das Familienzimmer ausreichend groß und klimatisiert. Der untere Lobbybereich ist sehr schön gestaltet. Bad sollte jedoch wirklich mal renoviert werden, wurde ja schon wohl längere Zeit hier immer wieder angekündigt. Insgesamt waren wir aber sehr zufrieden mit unserem Zwischenstop hier.

Disappointing, but at least I had a bed for the night.
Pros:

The location was good. Car parking was good.

Cons:

The room was quite basic, and very bland - not at all cosy, unlike other Holiday Inns that I have stayed in.
Breakfast was until 10, but at 9.20 the cooked breakfast was sparse and looking very sad. It also wasn't very hot.
There were no coffee cups readily available and when I asked a member of staff for one she knelt down and rummaged around for the last two that were lurking at the back of the very bottom shelf. I could not drink my first cup of coffee from the machine as it had a horrible after taste. I tried for a second cup, using a new cup, and waited whilst the machine was doing a cleansing cycle, however this was just as bad, so I left that too. I don't know if it was the water, or something specific to the coffee machine, because my wife's tea was ok for her.

Great place to stay with some improvements needed.
Pros:

The location was great and the facilities were generally good. We had a family room with 2 double beds and a sofa bed which was perfect for our family! It was very comfortable and we enjoyed our stay.

Cons:

Bathroom - very small, and almost no ventilation which made it very steamy after someone uses the shower. Better ventilation needed.
Room lighting - The mirror is on a wall next to the bathroom and there is no lighting close by. Lighting is limited and it was always dark in that area.
No lift - this is a big issue for us, as we have a young one who had to climb 2 flights of stairs to our room on the top floor. With luggage and bags to carry, this made it quite cumbersome. Also, thinking about older people and people with mobility difficulties, these stairs are quite a put off. There should be a lift available as an alternative.

Dichtbij de snelweg.

Cons:

Het was best vies. De algemene ruimtes waren vies, er zaten vlekken op de bank, tafel en grond. Er stond vieze vaat in verschillende gangen, de badkamer was verouderd en stonk ontzettend naar riool.
Bij het campingbedje zat geen matrasje waardoor onze baby op houten latjes moest slapen. Onacceptabel.

Loved the friendly atmosphere. Felt very at home there.
Pros:

Breakfast was lovely, very good. Bedroom was very comfortable.

Cons:

Our booking wasn't last minute. We really found the stairs hard work. (Room 238 ).We are senior citizens , in our 70s, and not usually complainers. However, we were exhausted and found in future we will be enquiring about a lift before we make a booking. We felt a ground floor room eould have made such a difference to our stay.

Pros:

Room was comfortable and clean.

Cons:

My room was too cold as a result of the Air conditioning, which i switched off immediately, but could not get warm.
There were no blankets/throws to use so i asked for a heater which staff kindly brought up immediately. That saved the day.
Some biscuits would have been a nice extra, and access to more milk.

Pros:

The pool was nice and not too small for the kids to play in. The breakfast was nice and felt like more than just the standard breakfasts at hotels usually. The coffee was good, and the staff was so nice and helpful. The lobby was clean and tidy and felt welcoming, and there was AC for these hot summer days. We had dinner at the restaurant, and the pizza was great for the kids, and our meals were nice as well. Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely stay here again.
