Disappointed has we couldn’t sleep as far too hot and daughter ended up poorly because of it.
Pros:

Didn’t stay as our room was extremely hot even with the fans my daughter became so poorly from the heat and the sofa bed had a huge dip in it and to did not work so after 2 hours after checking in we checked back out,. No refund offered not even a partial refund or even offering the cost of our breakfasts that we obviously did not have would have been something ..so disappointed.

Cons:

Air conditioning would be a huge improvement, replacing the sofa bed and making sure the tv is actually working would of been good

Overall good, but rooms in need of improvements.
Pros:

Most staff, happy and kind, certain breakfast staff member was grumpy and not very approachable.
Evening resturant staff very kind.
Location is great.
Parking great (as long as they waiver your charges for the stay duration)
Nice size TV.
Spacious room.

Cons:

Rooms are very tired and in need of soft refurbishment and decoration.
Bathroom needs attention as many areas in need of refurbishment and decoration.
Shower curtain and not glass screen.
Had to fix TV channel signal myself as reception did not have the knowledge on how to reset tuning.
Had to chase reception for maintenance visit over the TV channel issue (World Cup)

Stay here regularly when traveling to UK. Perfect overnight stop location . Staff always excellent , rooms good value .

The staff were wonderful

Cons:

The hotel is very dated and needs a major refurbishment. The size of the rooms is very generous, however the overall appearance is poor and let's the hotel down.

Reception staff - very helpful.

Cons:

No offer of any water despite a heat wave in a hotel where there is no air con in the rooms.

One of the restaurant staff took 15 mins to take my order (2 dish and a drink) because the staff couldn’t work the till.

The WIFI went down for about 4 hrs in the evening and the restaurant refused to process any orders. When asked whether they can mark it down to the room and we can pay later. The answer was “no”. The hotel is not near any cash points to for easier cash payments nor other eating places. Found it very unhelpful and not customer orientated. In all that time, their kitchen staff were idle….

Having stayed. I don’t find it value for money for the service experienced and will not recommend it anyone who is looking for a hotel in the area.

Pros:

Cleanliness was at high standards especially the beds and comfortability.
The hospitality team were amazing, very helpful and welcoming.
The bar staff were sociable and very helpful.

Cons:

The altitude of some staff in the breakfast buffet. Were appalling. The welcoming wasn't there at all even when you ask a something, one said just check there!
The food we ate at dinner could be better, we could not finish, we had to order food from outside

Pros:

The staff are all so friendly and welcoming. We had a few interactions, from check in, restaurant, bar, health club and spa, to housekeeping and there was not one single member of staff that didn’t greet us warmly, or try to make our stay more enjoyable.

Cons:

It’s an old property and the weather was very warm. There is no air conditioning in the rooms, only a fan. The fan just blows warm air around so it’s not ideal in summer. I would also suggest using the fridges in the room to give a complementary bottle of water as well.

If that’s a 4* hotel it can’t be that hard to be a 5* hotel…
Pros:

It’s convenient location to where I was heading.

Staff were helpful, polite and friendly.

Cons:

Hottest day of the year and it didn’t have any air con or water in the room.

The room was basic and wasn’t that clean.

Great staying: great value for money / great location to communte to London
Pros:

Breakfast was very good and various - parking facilities convienient and really cheap for Hotel Guests.

Cons:

Nothing in particular - i woud just mention that the overall structure is a bit outdated but very weel managed and there is no AC (at least in our room) but it was equipped with a couple of fans in case of need
