Stayed here for 10 days on our honeymoon!!
Very disappointed. Rated as 4 star but way below.
Arrived late at night and no-one to show us to our rooms we had to ask another guest where the lifts were.
Rooms shabby and in need of refurbishment.
Outdoor pool looked unclean, indoor pool rather dingy and very dimly lit.
Food although a very good choice was often not very hot and we tried the restaurant at various times.
Some sort of staff meeting was going on one afternoon and a young man was being severely reprimanded in front of guests which was highly embarrassing for everyone.
Positives were the bbq night was excellent but cost €16 pp. And the know bar on the beach front if you could get a seat.
All in all not a good experience
La gentillesse et les attentions (au petit soin) du personnel de l’établissement.
La qualité du buffet pour un 5 étoiles n’est pas représentatif.
Cher pour ce que nous avons eu en terme de qualité.
Certainly not a 5* hotel, the bar at the hotel was round the pool, so sat on plastic chairs at night, staff working there not very friendly, the beach bar was fabulous and Mike is a lovely chap who certainly knows how to run a bar and make good drinks. There is a lovely bar in reception with comfortable seatind and this was never opened...3 pools and less than 100 sunbeds for the whole of the hotel which supposably has well over 100 rooms, only 1 bottle of water on arrival rest of the time buy your own, the hotel water tasted as though it had purification tablets in, food very hit and miss one night my sister and myself had fish in a sauce, both of which were not cooked in the middle, taken away by a very reluctant manager.
The first thing to say, is that, as with everything - you get what you pay for. This is listed as a 5 star hotel, but is priced in the 3/4 star bracket - so please don’t be surprised that this is not 5 stars! That said - it’s a perfectly lovely hotel, and we had a great time!
I would say that it is a 3 star hotel. The drinks were good, with a wide range of cocktails as well as the usual drinks. Food was good - not a wide range, but tasty.
The snack offering was poor - dry sponge cake, watermelon and ice cream (which was completely liquid/ soft every day).
Room service was good and the ladies cleaning were lovely.
It was very quiet when we went, so no waiting for food/ drinks at any point.
Pool was good. Tennis court was knackered.
Know Bar by the beach was great.
Location is good; short drive from airport - 25 mins, just a one minute walk down to the beach. Beach was good - a short sand bit, but then it was like a huge stone slab - great for snorkelling. Bring beach shoes.
Plenty of shops/ restaurants within a short walk.
Overall, we loved it. It’s definitely not 5 star hotel- but like I said, if you want 5 star - you need to pay for it! It’s a 3 star hotel - a really lovely one.
I’d definitely recommend.
Toute les activités autour...
La dame a l'accueil 😡 tt le reste du personnel top
The hotel was great good food value of mony let me late checkout because my flight was late thanks I really enjoyed
It's closed to the beach
My only circumstances are bottled water is not free . No shower near main pool . Toilets not on same level as pool especially with children .
-1 floor for indoor pool could potentially have a sauna /steam room to enhance the experience.
Although the food choices are good.
Maybe themed nights & pool snacks could be introduced.
Been here one day good service, nice food ,in central location 100 yards from the beach can't complain for the price we have paid
Friendly staff, rooms very were clean, service very good. On departure day they allowed us to keep the room with no extra charge. Location perfect. They have bar at the beach which you can use in your inclusive, welcoming.
This trip was booked last minute, but I can safely say it was a good find. The rooms are clean, the food options are plentiful and good quality. We booked all inclusive and found it decent value for the price paid. Maybe not so much for the cocktail drinkers but there are enough bars nearby if you want something a bit more fancy or maimstream for a reasonable price but the beer and wine is fine. The staff where very friendly, helpful and good with our 2 year old toddler who can be a bit of a handful.
We arrived at the hotel 5th October and on checking in was charged 210 euros environmental tax. This was because it has a 5 star rating by the Greek government. The room was quality but that was all . Entertainment two nights a week , food awful , we were living on salad and bread and butter, no toilet facilities by the outdoor pools , we were given half litre of water per day for three of us, so we were having to go and buy from local shops . The hotel manager never greeted anyone , we never saw him with a smile on his face ( totally in the wrong job. The environment tax is the sole reason I’ll not go to Greece or its Islands again.it worked out at 15 euros per night
I wasn’t expecting much for the price I paid, and that’s what I got. The hotel staff were pleasant, the bed was comfortable enough and the room facilities were adequate, apart from the wet-room shower which flooded half the bathroom. The bar is not big enough for the number of guests wanting to use it.
And the hotel is in need of a major update.
On the plus side, the location of the hotel is good and it is kept nice and clean, near to the beach and the long main seafront road, which is peppered with bars. It’s worth noting that all the bars all try to get you to visit them by vigorously hawking for your business, not aggressively, but persistently and it gets a bit tiresome after a couple of nights of it.
To sum up, my stay wasn’t terrible, but it also definitely wasn’t a 5* hotel.
I don’t think I will be back at the hotel or the town again
From the minute we arrived to the time we left this hotel was the worst experience I have ever had. When we arrived we were greeted by an elderly man who didn’t have a clue about the checking in process. It took him nearly an hour and we were the only ones at check in. We arrived at 1 am in the morning and asked for a drink and he said we would have to pay. I then asked for water and he said this was also chargeable but we could go down to the restaurant to get a cup of water. As we were checking in there was a man who came to complain saying he had had no sleep for 2 nights because of the noise but the man just said he couldn’t do anything and not very helpful. When he did finally did check us in, I asked if we could get help with our cases and he said no we would have to do it ourselves even though there was another man there. So we had to lift our cases up flights of stairs and then in the lift which was hard for 2 ladies on their own. When we got to our room I had paid for a sea view but it was literally overlooking a dirt track with cats and dogs roaming around and very noisy and the sea view was a joke. I went back to ask for another room and he was so rude and said no. We stayed I. The room but it was so noisy as you could even hear the people next door showering. We had no sleep and the next day I went back only to be told there was no rooms except one which I looked at but but just doors down which was no better so we just had to stay in that room. We went to the pool and the one near the garden was surrounded in cats poo. The indoor one was in disrepair and only had 2 food of water in. The other pool hardly had any sunbeds and said most get taken by 6 am. The hotel was dirty stained carpets and broken toilets. The rooms were not cleaned properly and the sheets were not changed just the beds made. Everything was chargeable 10 euros for the towels, 2 euros for water which should be a basic necessity. 2 euros were also chargeable to store your cases in the luggage room. The drinks were watered down. The orange juice was squash and the pina colada was pineapple juice with weak rum. Worst drinks Iv ever been served. The food was dreadful as it was stone cold and the meat was often raw inside. Things were often reheated and I hardly ate anything. Everything was of cheap quality. They even served up liver one day. I got unwell for 4 days and told the hotel and the reception lady suggested the pharmacy. I asked about doctor but she didn’t want me to go. In the end I just went to the pharmacy as we were due to go home. The staff at the hotel were all so rude and it was as if they didn’t like the English. They would slam stuff down if you asked for something. Anything I asked for it was no no and in an abrupt and rude way. I feel so strong about the poor quality of this hotel and that it is more like a 2 to 3* at the most. The quality is dreadful, the hotel is dirty and run down. The pictures are not a true reflection. There are cranes working most of the day and it’s like a building site and very noisy. Cats and dogs roaming around and right near the town which was an area that was run down and smelt of sewerage. I would not stay here if it was free and the worst ever hotel I have stayed in.
Recently stayed here. This hotel is not 5 star at best 3 star. The only good thing was the room base ok, looks like it has been updated Recently. However the rest of the hotel is drab and outdated decor. Reception area is outdated just like the rest of the hotel. Only one bar open of an evening which is small and cramped area next to the pool. The food was mostly served warm when it should of been hot food. It was boring and did not look appetising. I know one couple found a foreign body in their food which put me right off.
