Haus mit großer Selbstwahrnehmung in zentraler Lage
Pros:

Die Lage und der Preis waren das Einzige, was man mit 4* rechtfertigen kann.
Das Personal war professionell freundlich.
Der abschließbare "Fahrradkäfig" hinter dem Haus verfügte über Lademöglichkeiten für E-Bikes

Cons:

Einen Kategorien-Unterschied zwischen "Standard" und "Superior" war nicht erkennbar, ausser im Preis.
Das Zimmer war recht klein und beengt. In der "Superior" Dusche war der Duschkopf defekt, der Brauseschlauch undicht. Die Badezimmer-Accessoires waren aufgerissen und unvollständig. Hier wurde einfach vergessen zu kontrollieren und aufzufüllen. Normalerweise führe ich solche Dinge nicht in meinen Bewertungen auf, aber für ein 4*-Sterne Haus mit einem Übernachtungspreis von knapp 500,-€ pro Nacht für zwei Zimmer (Superior DZ und Standard EZ) finde ich das ein No-Go.
Das Frühstück wurde mit 6,-€ für Getränke und 14,-€ für Speisen aufgeführt. Man konnte scih für drei Frühstückslots eintragen. 7h, 8:30 und 10:00. Wir wählten den 2. Slot und mussten dann feststellen, dass einige Produkte leider "aus" waren, was bei einem Hotel dieser Klasse um 8:40 nicht passieren sollte.......
Um an den Fahrradkäfig zu gelangen musste man um das gesamte Karree laufen, da leider der Hintereingang defekt war.... Unglückliche Einzelumstände und Einzelerfahrungen, die aber einen eher negativen Eindruck bei uns hinterlassen haben. Kurzum: War das Geld nicht wert.

Pros:

Die Ambiance im Gebäude, der wunderschöne Frühstücksrau hat uns beeidruckt, ebenso das Frühstück. Die zentrale Lage nahe der Altstadt und auch des Bahnhofs und der Busse war sehr praktisch.
Das Personal war sehrfreundlich, vor allem auch beim Frühstück waren die Mitarbeitenden äusserst zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit!

Cons:

Von Vorteil wäre gewesen, bei der Anmeldung einen mündlichen Hinweis zur Gästekarte und deren Vorteile zu erhalten.
Auch hätten wir es geschätzt, präzisere Angaben zu erhalten zum Weg nach Meersburg per Bus und Fähre (Bus-Nr., Abfahrzeiten,Vergünstigung mit Gästekarte); Broschüren dazu haben wir bei der Anmeldung keine gesehen, haben diese bei der Tourismus-Info geholt.
