Best Western Los Alamitos Inn & Suites

Very small area for breakfast. Room with that old motel smell. Staff was friendly. Probably won't be back.

Room was dark and didn’t smell good. Light over sink burned out. Checked in around 4 asked for a higher floor but was told all that was available were rooms on ground floor next to parking lot. Wish I had stayed across the street at the Fairfield.

This Best Western is not a good one. The stairs have these black plastic edge pieces they screwed in that will catch your feet and make you trip and fall, happened to me twice. The rooms were nice and clean and the location is peaceful and quiet. However, there is an indian clerk with dark complexion and glasses at the front desk who checked me in. He was asking me for my personal information but was asking me to write it down, definitely not standard and he was most likely going to sell my info to data brokers. Then he asked for my number and I thought it was to confirm my info in his computer. So I told him that. The very next day in the afternoon my phone starts blowing up with scam texts. This indian guy took my number and sold it to data brokers and so that is my main issue with this location. Never coming back to this hotel location or ANY Best Western location ever again, lost my business.

This was the worst trip of staying in a hotel that I've ever experienced. Staff particularly desk clerk "Sanjay" extremely rude. Requested maid service only to return after a long day with family to find the maids removed the linen from the bed and left it bare. After going to customer who was the same rude desk clerk that checked us in who didn't want to address the issue. The same desk clerk entered the room very aggressive with just four bed pillows and slammed them on my mother's bed. When I asked why and what was he doing he then approached me yelling which resulted in the police being called to the scene. The next morning upon checking out I spoke with the manager "Clarissa" who was running late to work listened to my complaint and stated she needed to review the tapes. As I was walking out I looked back at her and she rolled her eyes. The desk clerk Mike was the most professional one who helped me out as much as possible although I had to eventually get the proper linen and made my own bed. The carpet was so dirty stinky and sticky very disgusting that we had to use towels to walk on with socks on or shoes for certain.

I requested a non smoking room on my reservation and they gave a room with smoking. I asked to be moved to another room and was told if I don’t like to room I’m in I can have my money back and go some where else. I told the manager at the front desk that’s not what I want. I just want a room that doesn’t smell like smoke. He than moved me to a room with no smoke smell.

Simple clean personable staff

No windows or cell phone connection in room. Bed was spongy

I disliked that they have fleas. I was bitten all over my legs and arms. The bathroom door has glow in the dark graffiti inside. Old carpeting, old furnishings.

breakfast is a bit poor. Best Western quality is the undisputed leader. The staff is wonderful. Thanks to everyone.

The food options were practical and good and the bed conformt was acceptable. The day of the check in the restroom miss to have amenities and there was a strong odor to smoke at all times.

Location was great, close to restaurants, shop and everything. Staff are courteous and nice. Rooms are clean and smells good. Breakfast is awesome!! We will definitely stay here again.

Some updating needs to be done. Bathroom in poor condition and room smells musty. Bed comfortable& friendly front desk staff.

I came in late in the evening was greeted very nicely. The man at the desk took my information and was quite nice and informative. The next day we went in for coffee and breakfast and again the staff was great and the facility was very clean. I would stay there again and not give it a second thought.

Front desk staff are really nice.
