Everything was excellent couldn't fault it .
What i loved the most was the workers and staff .10 out 10
The room was great. Very clean. Breakfast was good. Love the Koko rice that was served for breakfast and my favourite was the Vaitipolo (Samoan lemonade) served at the bar. Staff were amazing!!. Very friendly and helpful. Definitely would return to Tanoa for my next visit.
I love panikeke but the ones served during breakfast tasted very different.
Location, beautiful views, breakfast buffet, friendly service
Our room’s shower had plumbing issues, kept flooding. I should’ve just asked for a new room. Bed sheets had stains on them. Dryer does not dry for the 1 token, so you need to buy 2 or 3. I raised this with the reception at the front and he acted like he doesn’t care. For the money we pay all the facilities should be 10/10. Very disappointing
It was good
Friendly staff
The construction work during the day was too noisy
Great selection of food at the breakfast buffet. Especially like the local fruit being available. The variety of food is good too. Room was clean. Could possibly do with supplying more milk as we had 4 people in our room and only a small carton of milk to use for hot drinks.
It was located in Apia Town, beautiful design, beautiful staff and lovely and very helpful… the room design was lovely, the bed was comfy, the room quite spacious, property is very beautiful at night when lights are on, even the daytime too but night is more beautiful. their breakfast was average but still ok… their food at the bar / restaurant - every meal we had was soo yummy fresh, flavourful and tasty. their coconuts were quite big too cold and fresh to drink cause it was hot.
facilities were quite good - like gym and pool. There is a-lot of potential for Tanoa to have more services that could make them more money.
We had issues with our door lock kept us every single time we left the room, then the AC started leaking water, the maintenance guy came to fix the lock which took like 3hrs of our day because we had valuables in the room and didnt want to leave it while he had access to our room. We had a half show of their fia fia night but we still paid full price - no partial refunds were offered or complementaries, the fire dance is the reason we booked it, there is only one washing machine and one working dryer for the whole resort if you want a self-service we had to wait and wait and wait but i guess thats part of their marketing to use their laundry service which is quad-triple the price lol which i caved into after .. but apart from that - everything else was amazing!
Complimentary breakfast had great healthy options
Well, the place is tired, sheets supposedly white, were brown, bathroom tiles soap scum need cleaning.
Lovely pool and friendly staff, breaky nice and rooms are a great size.
Nothing really, rooms could be abit better lighting in bathroom sink area.
Friendly staff, close to town
Our aircon was not really blowing out cool air… when we questioned it the manager said that she would send someone to fix it, by the time the evening came round it still do not appear to be blowing out enough cool air for the space… however we were too tired to complain anymore so we just grinned and beared it for the next for days
The room was adequate , cleaning staff did a good job all the time and the beds were very comfortable. I originally asked for a more"special" room, but was bumped out due to a conference. Room I was given was adequate but had a very poor view of outside buildings not the pleasant gardens that other rooms had. Breafast was adequate, not special, and not vary varied. Yes, you got lots of choices but not many to my liking. But I was happy overall.
It is in a great location and easy walking to good restaurants, shopping , banks etc Very good free Wifi
didn't like
1 the pool not deep enough /too shallow for any type of lap swimming. Really its a pool just for children/teenagers/adults who just like to sit in it It would have been good if the hotel provide more opportunities to relax in the gardens /outside areas that belong to the hotel. I noticed a broken down/disused tennis court there which is crazy. Why not fix it up and make it available to guests
2 I think the room was a bit expensive for the so called "resort experience"
Friendly staff
Comfortable stay and location was perfect.
Excellent location in town. The bar/cafe was good for happy hour drinks & snacks, and not bad for a limited-menu dinner. Washing machines on site a big plus. Staff was all lovely.
Overall it feels tired and not very well maintained. Rooms are basic with no particular amenities; but that’s a bit typical on Samoa. There was an irritating pattern regarding payment, where I found myself repeatedly returning to reception because my credit card hadn’t been activated for charging food to my room or some such. WiFi kept not working.
