Pros:

Great room, Comfortable and awesome shower. Door Greeters were great and helpful! Valet employees were above and beyond, very polite, and extremely helpful. Thank you for an awesome stay!

Cons:

Liked everything. Would love a seat in the shower to relax..

Een aangename ervaring in een prachtig hotel.
Pros:

Mooie ruime kamer, goed onderhouden en zeer netjes.
Zeer vriendelijk personeel

Cons:

De bar had goede cocktails, maar de snacks waren minder.
Personeel in de bar was zeer vriendelijk, maar beetje verstrooid. En het was heel lang wachten op onze bestelling. Van onze 2 snacks bleef er 1 achter. Toen we ernaar vroegen bleek dat ze die vergeten was.

It was OK and useful location for our purposes.
Pros:

Good wifi and excellent restaurant - but very cold inside. Europeans need to wrap up warmly.

Cons:

No proper breakfast room, just a shabby Starbucks. Not what one expects from a ‚luxury’ hotel. No grab handles (or anti-slip mat) in the shower and no tooth glasses in bathroom. No instructions on how to use air-conditioning.
Chairs in restaurant too low - my face was more or less level with the table. Second time we ate there, cushions were provided.

Es war alles in Ordnung, begeistert hat mich allerdings nichts. Das Gebäude ist 150 Jahre alt - bei uns kein Ding, hier eine große Sache. Valet hat einen vernünftigen Preis. Sehr sauber, Lage gut

Cons:

Vor allem der Geruch im Zimmer - alt, keicht modrig. Die Klimaanlage war super laut. Die "scenic view" war vor allem auf ein Parkhaus. Ich hatte mir bei den Bewertungen und Bildern ehrlich mehr versprochen

Pros:

Arrival at the hotel is quite a 'wow' as the building inside is such an experience and has a luxury feel. The staff were really friendly and the location was in walking distance to the river and activities.

A really nice heritage hotel located just off the highway in the heart of Chattanooga. Our room was fantastic, even if the view out our window was of the brick wall across the way. We would definitely stay here again.

A beautiful hotel with a great location. Quiet and comfortable we would definitely stay here again when visiting Chattan

The beautiful architecture and decor. The spacious rooms and large windows.

Cons:

The only thing missing was an area to purchase some snacks. Most places I’ve stayed has had a small room designated to purchase snacks and drinks.

It was a beautiful stay. Would definitely stay at the Read House on my next visit.
Pros:

It was not the best location, as our room was near the elevator and you could hear it.
The room was very comfortable along with the beds.
Valet was quick and friendly.
The window shade was a little difficult to open and close.
Having the closet in the bathroom behind the door was a little hard to access and the bathroom door was very squeaky.
