Ideal place for a city break
Pros:

Location for the city centre was excellent, the amenities excellent, great breakfast and good aircon. Quiet hotel.

Cons:

The room was looking a little tired and my partner would have liked a walk in shower. The car park was expensive and cost more than quoted on the booking.

We stayed before and enjoyed it but after last nights stay we won’t be going back.
Pros:

Great location

Cons:

The room was next to the lift and was quite loud, it needed oiling as it kept squeezing when it was in use. Not everything was available at breakfast, we had to wait 10 mins for fried eggs and black pudding. The pillows were too soft.

Not the best. We stay in chester quite often but won't stay there again!!
Pros:

Breakfast and staff were nice

Cons:

Bed was small and uncomfortable. Daughters "sofabed" was very small, uncomfortable and looked like a camping bed from the 1970s! The window was very draughty and as it was a windy night it howled through the gap. Therefore I hardly slept at all!! I did complain at reception when we checked out. Our hotel room was 251. Entrance at lower ground level not a good first impression. Also we booked in as a family of three but only 2 cups and 2 glasses etc. This seems to happen in other hotels too.
