It was OK but wouldn't rush back.
Pros:

Great location - easy reach of bars, restaurtants, shops etc.
The onsite spa was nice and the staff there were lovely.

Cons:

Noise from the main road - the windows weren't double glazed so let all the traffic noise in.
The pool area was at full capacity when we wanted to use it after our treatments so that was disappointing.
The service from the bar was very slow.

Staff were exceptional-Mag and Ellie on reception were professional and excellent at addressing any questions and queries we had.

Cons:

The car parking fee-I didnt see it listed in the booking and had to pay this extra when we had already entered the hotel car park.

Pros:

It was Ideally situated for site seeing around the city. The room was a good size and it was clean. The bed was comfortable. I would have preferred to have a walk in shower than a shower over the bath. There was tea and coffee making facilities, always a bonus. The breakfast was good with plenty of choice.

Cons:

As always with hotel rooms it was far too warm in the room and there was no window to open.

Pros:

friendliness of the staff,and the decor was really nice

Cons:

A few things in our room but only minor ,one of the bedside spot lights wasn't working ,the toilet roll in the bathroom was loose and the bathroom could do with a deep clean, we changed room as the small window was screwed down as there was no handle but reception was very helpful about changing our room
