The reception staff are very helpful. The location is good.

Cons:

The towels are of poor quality and torn. The mirrors are always cleaned poorly.The pillows are of poor quality; the filling is synthetic and clumped into lumps, making them uncomfortable to sleep on.

Geen vier sterren - hotel toe aan een upgrade
Pros:

Prima bed en redelijk ontbijt. Na een wens om van kamer te wisselen, uiteindelijk goed geholpen. Prima parkeergelegenheid op een aantal minuten lopen van het hotel. Als service bagageopslag aanwezig.

Cons:

Dit is géén 4* hotel.

Bij binnenkomst hebben we tien minuten in de lobby staan wachten en uiteindelijk zelf het personeel gehaald die bezig was in het restaurant. Mijn inziens zou de receptie constant bezet moeten zijn.

Wij hadden een kamer met dakterras geboekt. Deze kamer bleek erg klein en warm. Hierbij een gedatteerde badkamer met douchegordijn. Er was een dakterras bij de kamer wat top had kunnen zijn, maar deze was niet goed verzorgd en had geen privacy t.o.v. de andere kamers.

We hebben omdat de kamer zo klein en benauwd was, aangegeven om te willen boeken naar een andere (grotere) kamer; deze was een stuk groter, comfortabeler en de temperatuur beter. Maar de lamerhygiene was (ook) hier oppervlakkig, helaas. Vieze strepen op de deuren, vies ogende badkamervloer, gebruikte koffie-cups, etc.
Daarnaast was onze tweede kamer voorzien van een balkon die niet bruikbaar was. De balkondeur was heel amateuristisch vastgeschroefd en niet bruikbaar. Geen idee waarom.

Over het algemeen lijkt het hotel daarnaast toe te zijn aan een bijhoorlijke update. Veel dingen zijn beschadigd, bekrast etc. De tuin heeft veel potentie, maar zag er nu niet uit. Heeft wellicht met het weer te maken, maar toch.

Voor de prijs die wij betaalde, basic en dus geen 4*.
