Dunadry Hotel And Gardens

Very disappointed my name Roger was misspelt as Rodger.
We're also displeased sports facilities were so far from the actual hotel to make them impracticable to use.

Lovely stay and bonus of a wee swim and sauna.
Generally a complete relaxed experience with friendly staff and an incredible room with a beautiful view.

Warm and comfortable.Clean bathroom.

From the moment you arrive, you are welcomed like an old friend. Nothing is too much trouble for any of the staff. Everywhere is immaculately clean, having the Peacocks wandering around the grounds is a bonus.

I called on Friday evening to make a booking and was told Afternoon Tea is served between 12–3 on Saturday. I was asked what time we’d like and chose 1:00pm.

On arrival, there was immediate confusion. Although we had a booking, we were told it wasn’t for Afternoon Tea. We were asked, “Are you sure you booked Afternoon Tea?” and “Did you call or book online?” which didn’t feel great, especially as we were left standing before taking a seat ourselves.

A waitress then returned with a manager to say they didn’t have our Afternoon Tea booking but could arrange it if we were willing to wait, adding that Afternoon Tea requires 48 hours’ notice (not what it states on their website). We agreed, but the whole exchange left me feeling as though I wasn’t believed — not ideal when this was a birthday gift for my mother.

Once seated, our waitress was lovely: warm, friendly, and attentive. The Afternoon Tea itself was mixed. The sandwiches, soup, and scones were all fresh and delicious. However, the pastries were a disappointment and not what I would expect from a four‑star hotel.

When we asked for the remaining items to be boxed, we were simply handed a box and had to pack them ourselves — again, not the level of service I’ve experienced elsewhere.

Overall, some elements were enjoyable, but the booking confusion and several service issues took away from what should have been a special experience.

The spa facilities were great great rooms and lovely pints great breakfast

Gorgeous big bedroom which was in a quiet spot of the hotel, big comfortable beds.

The staff were so very friendly, bedroom was very warm and comfortable .
Your breakfast was amazing. Hot plates are something i love when selecting breakfast.

The Dunadry hotel & Gardens is a beautiful place to stay..
The location is perfect for Belfast international airport which is only a 9 minute drive away.
There are plenty of other places within an hours drive (Belfast, Ballymena & Giants Causeway to name a few).
The rooms are very spacious & exceptionally clean.
Beds are so comfortable, I slept like a baby. The towels are lovely and soft and house keeping comes daily unless you like a lie in.
The grounds are well presented and kept well maintained. They have 5 beautiful peacocks that will come and have a nosey at you through the window if you’re lucky to have a ground floor room overlooking the garden.
There are plenty of parking spaces available, so no need to worry if you’ve hired a car.
Staff are polite and very helpful. I’d especially like to give a shout out to Gary the manager, he couldn’t do enough to make our stay special.
My only criticism would be the gym & pool. Unfortunately the equipment is very dated (does the job) and rusty & the pool is quite small and very cozy when there is more than 5 people in it.
This is the second time I’ve stayed at the Dunadry and would definitely recommend it. I hope to visit again soon.

From the moment you arrive until the moment you leave you experience kindness, exceptional customer service and attentiveness that makes you not want to leave... Malachay especially is the jewel in the crown of customer service, he made me and my business partner's awful travel experience just melt away through his kindness. The rooms and grounds are beautiful and the breakfast is divine.. we really hope to be back just for the hotel!

Perfectly lovely relaxing stay, Staff and Peacocks were terrific. Started with a Thai Massage which set us up nicely for the Garden Spa good food and wine etc.

The grounds were lovely, the room was very spacious. The food was delicious.
