Pros:

Room was clean and large with a King bed. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast for $15 was perfect and the food selection was good. Location is great and White Ave is great to walk on for lots of things to do and places to eat.

Cons:

No view. Our room faced East. checkout took quite a long time as they only had one person working the desk and a few guests checking in and checking out. Our Friday night had a bunch of yahoos come in from a party night at 3:35-4:30am and were very loud throughout the floor.

Varscona on whyte worth a stay
Pros:

We stay at Varscona on Whyte everytime we go to Edmonton. Since last year hotel was renovated. Comp breakfast is gone for a few years now but we got a discount through hotel. Our parking was free which is a bonus. The rooms got updated along with the restaraunt. Really tasteful. Gin tasting 4 to 6 was nice. Used to be wine but maybe provided on other days. It is central to all and an uber trip to downtown was $7.00. The staff was so friendly and the couple we brought with us loved their stay. We always stay on the East side of the hotel. Very quiet and can get a great rest. The rooms were very clean. Lots of restaraunts and activities in proximity to hotel. We would recommend this hotel to all.

Pros:

The location is fantastic and the Parkade right next-door is very convenient. There were some issues with another guest on our floor and it was handled quickly and professionally by the staff.

Cons:

The air freshener in the lobby and the rooms was quite strong. My husband was a bit allergic to it and had itchy eyes from it.

Cons:

The staff were not the friendliest they couldnt care whether you stayed at this hotel or not defo would not recomend.
Also what hotel doesnt have cutlery whether they are renovating the restaurant or not!
The male receptionist was no way helpful or nice just too lazy to walk and go get some cutlery as i had ordered a take out because their restaurant was not open which they did not explain this before arrival.
Wouldnt go back here!
