Great Experience
Pros:

I work for major airline and had a two night layover at the Florida Hotel. The hotel staff were very friendly, engaging and delightful.

The hotel is connected to a mall, which gave plenty of inexpensive food options, and shopping opportunities. The hotel is a short distance from major entertainment such as Disney World. The hotel is also a very short distance from the Orlando International Airport making it a great place for short and long layovers.

The standard rooms were a sufficient size and clean. Other hotel amenities, such as the pool and gym were adequate size and never busy. The hotel has a Starbucks and Chick-fil-A on site at the entrance to the mall from the hotel lobby.

One thing they made this hotel stand out for me as an airline employee is the way they take care of us. They offer generous 50% off on food in their restaurants and have a crew closet on each floor, which contain things such as shampoo, conditioner, soap, and other toiletries including razors and shaving cream. The hotel goes out of its way to make airline crews welcome, including delicious cookies at check-in. They could be a model to other Hotel chains on how to treat airline employees.

I look forward to my next layover and stay at the Florida Hotel

The Florida Mall Hotel as it all!
Pros:

Awesome experience! I accompanied my son to an event from 7/31-8/2/26. Extremely pleased with the cleanliness of our room, the receptionist was very welcoming when we checked it. The entire surrounding was neat and welcoming. I love the proximity to the mall as well as the eateries in the area. Very calm, my fuss, safe and conveniently located.

Amazing hotel
Pros:

I had an amazing stay here! From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel so welcome and taken care of. Everyone was so friendly and helpful, which really made the experience even better. I also loved the perks of having Starbucks and Chick-fil-A right at the hotel, plus the mall being so close by was super convenient. Overall, such a great stay with amazing staff and a great location. I would definitely stay here again!

Besides the cleaning..........I Always enjoy my stay and always recommend to family, friends etc.

The Property, location, and staff were all excellent!!!!!!

Cons:

The cleaning was not done properly. When we arrived, there was visible dust in the bathroom. During the first cleaning after our arrival, the same dirt remained on the bathroom floor under the vanity, and there were pieces of debris in the room itself.

Always a great stay
Pros:

The hotel is conveniently located within Florida Mall - everything from shopping to conference facilities is right there.

Super clean and comfortable.
Pros:

I’m very fortunate to have stayed here on many occasions. Front of house are always so welcoming creating a warm friendly atmosphere. The staff in Crickets are friendly and helpful and the rooms are super comfy and clean and quiet. The hotel is in a great location whether it be for shopping, the airport or obviously the attractions.

Nice hotel!
Pros:

Great location at Florida Mall. Chic-fil-a and Starbucks in the lobby. Rooms are very clean and spacious. Microwaves and refrigerators are a plus, too. Friendly staff.
