Gutes Hotel!
Pros:

Super freundliches Personal, schöne saubere Zimmer, gutes Frühstück!

Cons:

Zimmer eher eng und es fehlte etwas an Ablageflächen, aber sonst super.

Really nice quality breakfast with quite a few options, super clean, really quiet, and friendly staff. Location was great 15mins walk or 5mins bus to Bern centre

Poor student style accommodation.

Nothing. Will never stay there again.

Cons:

It is not a hotel! It is a student style accommodation. Claustrophobic rooms, no wardrobe, design of the room was done by someone who doesn't know anything about design or Bern. It felt like a parking lot that was transformed into accommodation. A ceiling that was painted in acid green colour straight on unfinished concrete, dark wood furniture and panels that have nothing to do with sustainability but a lot to do with chemicals and saving money. Almost everything from light fittings to table, side tables, clothes hanger was ugly. Only linens, curtains and towels were of good quality. The breakfast was fulfilled with overcooked, overfried processed food which is just unacceptable in a country like Switzerland. It is a complete disrespect to the country and its hard working people. Coffee machine only had milk in it in the morning. There was no explanation why at other times the milk was not inside the machine. At other times milk was left in a pot next to the coffee machine in a hot room to stay and go off by the evening. When one of the staff was questioned by his actions I was told that he doesn't care. The overall attitude of the staff felt like nobody likes to work there and rather see nobody coming and staying in. Unfortunately I can't write in plain English the five words people usually use to describe it. Not sure if the attitude of the staff comes from the low salaries or it is the people themselves. For the price Ibis charges for it's accommodation you can stay at a 4 star hotel in Switzerland and be welcomed there.

Erholsam und trotzdem zentral
Pros:

Frühstücksangebot war für mich sehr gut im Preis-Leistung Verhältnis
Unkompliziert und nettes Personal

Cons:

Frühstücksorganisation (hatte beispielsweise über 30‘ keine Gabeln mehr beim Geschirr und ass deshalb mit dem Löffel)
