Pros:

Das Schlossberghotel hat meine Erwartungen übertroffen: ein besonders schönes altes Gebäude, sehr gepflegt, mit einer Dachterrasse, die sich den Schlossberg hinauf zieht, die Freundlichkeit der Mitarbeiter. Begeistert hat mich die fantastische Kunstsammlung des Hauses - unfassbar, die besten Künstler der öst Moderne, in herrlichen Farben - das ergibt eine wunderbare Atmosphäre in diesem Haus.

We had a great stay and would highly recommend.
Pros:

Our two-bedroom apartment was spacious and clean. The staff were very friendly. They even had a small dessert plate waiting for us in the room. Our beds were comfortable and the view from the terrace was amazing. The water for the showers was hot. The room featured floor-to-ceiling windows that really enhanced the view from inside. The neighborhood was quiet and was within walking distance of most major sites and transit stops.

Cons:

We had very little to complain about. Since the apartment has large windows, it did get a little warm and stuffy during the sunny afternoons and into the evenings, but opening the windows helped. It would have been nice to have more pillows and top sheets on the beds, but I don't think this is common in Germany.

Our stay at the Schlossberg Hotel was truly exceptional and memorable in every way.

From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the hotel’s unique and special ambiance — a perfect blend of character, charm, and quiet elegance that made us feel instantly at ease. There is something quite magical about the atmosphere, which sets it apart from any other place we have stayed.

The staff were simply wonderful throughout our visit. They combined genuine warmth and care with a high level of professionalism, always attentive without ever being intrusive. Their kindness and natural friendliness made a lasting impression on us.

The interior design deserves particular praise. It is, without question, the most interesting and thoughtfully curated design we have experienced in any hotel, yet it remains wonderfully relaxing and harmonious. Every detail seems to have been chosen with care and imagination.

Breakfast each morning was a real highlight — fresh, varied, and beautifully presented, providing the perfect start to the day.

And finally, our room was nothing short of a dream: comfortable, stylish, and a true sanctuary in which to unwind.

We leave with the fondest memories and very much hope to return.
