Categories

Cleanliness
7.8
Mixed reports: several guests praised cleanliness while multiple reviews noted issues (musty/mold smell, cigarette odor on pillow, leftover food in room, dirty elevator rug). Overall cleanliness seen as inconsistent.
Service
10
Consistently excellent front-desk and staff interactions across reviews: described as friendly, informative, welcoming, and helpful — a standout strength for the property.
Location
9.6
Frequently praised for convenience (close to Elon, shops, restaurants, safe area). Location is one of the hotel's clear advantages.
Room Quality
7.6
Rooms noted as spacious and comfortable by many, but multiple comments about outdated bathrooms, worn furniture, uncomfortable beds, and occasional noise from highway reduce the score.
Amenities
7.4
Amenities receive mixed feedback: breakfast and basic offerings exist but some found breakfast poor; gym criticized (no free weights); no on-site restaurant/bar noted; elevator condition mentioned negatively.
Value for Money
9.8
Most guests reported the hotel as affordable and good value for the price, with a number explicitly recommending it based on cost and location, though a minority felt it was overpriced for the condition.
Food and Beverage
7.4
Breakfast received mixed remarks — one note of poor quality but also an A sanitation rating; overall F&B is basic and inconsistent in quality.
Overall Experience
10
Overall impressions are very positive primarily due to outstanding staff and strong location; recurring operational issues (rooms, some cleanliness) temper perfection for some guests but many report excellent stays and repeat visits.

Great location- horrible beds!
Pros:

Clean, great location, great staff

Cons:

The beds are the most uncomfortable beds I’ve ever slept on. We’ve stayed here 3 times because of the convenience to Elon. I wish you would get mattress toppers or new comfortable mattresses. They truly are horrible.
